Bounty Punter.. Tuesday Fancies

A FEW games taking the eye today in what is an interesting card of football including Icelandic Cup action, Moldovan Divizia A and Swedish U21s.

The Icelandic Cup is our first port of call with a game that has one of the most bizarre twists to it we've seen in a while.

ICELAND CUP
Trottur Vogum v Homer, 8pm, Bet365 in-play & possibly Sportingbet with full markets

Trottur Vogum are a 5th tier side in the new structure to Icelandic football having played their football in what was the bottom tier last season and finishing up mid-table. They faced up to the winners of their league, Vidir, in the last round of the cup and went on to win 3-2- something of a shock considering Vidir had run away with the league last season. Trottur had a decent tournament in the League Cup that is played pre-season over in Iceland by winning three of their matches and drawing two. They managed to score 16 goals in 5 matches and all this was achieved without them having played any of their matches on their home ground due to work being done.

Their opposition for tonight's match Homer are the interesting ones here. Homer play in the Gulfdeild in Iceland, which unbelievably is a 7-a-side league and they very rarely, usually only during this cup, play 11-a-side games! They managed to beat Stokkseyri 4-2 in the last round, having been 4-0 up at half-time, but Stokkseyri are a very poor side. Trottur beat them 2-0 in their final match of the league cup but we wouldn't read too much into this one as Trottur had already failed to qualify and made seven substitutions during the match as the manager gave game time to his young squad.

Tonight's match is Trottur's first back at their home ground and they are taking this as serious as it gets due to the fact the next round sees the big boys of Iceland entering the tournament. Trottur are currently 1/3 to win this game, with the goal line being set at Over 4.5 goals which we expect to stroll home in a fixture betwen two sides from the lower levels.

SWEDISH U21 LEAGUE
Atvidabergs v AIK, 4pm, Bet365 in-play

AIK are rotten. They've been destroyed the last couple of weeks shipping six to Elfsborg in a 6-2 defeat last week and eight the week previous when going down 8-0 to Syrianska. They have conceded 28 goals in 7 matches so far in the league and appear to be getting worse instead of better.

Atvidabergs sit second top of the league having won four and lost three matches so far. Their defeats have come to the better sides in this division and have all been away from home. Their home victories included a 3-0 win over Syrianska and they won away from home last week when beating Gefle 3-2.

AIK always seem capable of bagging an away goal but struggle not to ship them. This game should see goals with Atvidabergs bagging the majority of them.

Another couple of in-play games worth a watching are the Moldovan Divisia A matches at 3pm. League leaders Veris take on Maiak Chirsova, which is a top v bottom clash. Veris won the reverse fixture 7-0 earlier in the season so should be destroying this lot again as the season nears a close, though the markets have been smashed to bits on this this morning. In the same league Sherif-Tiraspol II travel to take on 2nd bottom side RS Lilcora. This game had a 10-0 victory for Sherif in the reverse fixture so is worth keeping an eye on it once it gets going to see if it's is one way traffic and if any value is to be had.
