ICELANDIC League Cup is with us action again today and we reckon the bookies may have lost their marbles bringing this game in-play.
As with Monday's match this game sees not one, but two teams from the lower tiers of Icelandic football going head to head in the group stages and this one should see goals galore.
BERSERKIR v STAL-ULFUR, WEDNESDAY, 8.30PM (Bet365 & William Hill)
This match sees two sides from the real depths of despair of the Icelandic leagues go head to head and we're stunned the bookies are even contemplating this one. Both sides played in the same league last season in what was the 4th tier, but both now find themselves in the 5th tier due to the restructuring of the game over there.
When they met last season Berserkir won their home fixture, at the same venue as today's game, 7-3. The reverse fixture saw a 3-3 draw being played out. Berserkir finished the season in 4th place having scored 47 goals and conceded 33 in 14 matches. Stal-Ulfur on the other hand finished second bottom of the eight team league scoring 20 and shipping 59, leaving both sides with an average of just under 6 goals per game. Some of Stal's results last season saw them beaten 10-1, 9-1, 9-0 and 6-1, while Berserkir won some of theirs 10-0, 6-1 and 5-1.
The two teams competed in seperate sections of the League Cup at this stage last season with Berserkir winning their group scoring an amazing 23 goals in the process and conceding 8 in their FOUR matches. Their results saw them win 11-1, 6-3, 3-1 and draw 3-3. Stal-Ulfur meanwhile managed to score 15 goals in their 4 matches and lost 11, again averaging 6 goals a game.
Team news at this level of football is a struggle so this recommendation is purely stats driven. As you can see by the stats laid out above these teams quite clearly love a goalfest and this game should be no different from last season's stats. Berserkir have had some friendly action lately and the results have been a 6-4 loss and a 5-2 win so nothing much seems to have changed from their point of view.

What’s the difference between over 4 and over 4.5 goals?
As mr fixit was saying over 4 and over 4.5 if its just 4 goals then then you win half and half the bet is void and if there’s 5 or more goals then you win both parts of the bet.

From what I’ve seen of this level there does tend to be more goals as the game goes on. They’ll be blowing out their arses come 75th minute this lot..

Thanks mr f, I’m only going to contact them once you let me know. I’m sure the t n c s will get them out of it but for them to tell me you can’t cash in live in play bets when I’ve done it before is bit odd.
