AN INTERESTING game on Friday that we're liking the look of takes place at 3pm in the Moldovan Divizia Nationala.
Top of the table Sheriff Tiraspol travel to face Iskra-Stal as they look to boost their lead at the top of the table with only five games to go.
Looking purely at the stats on this game it doesn't jump out at you with the last match between these two sides finishing in a 2-2 draw and with previous games being won by Sheriff by the odd goal.
Where this one gets interesting is if you look at what's being going on at Iskra lately. Last week they played out a 2-2 draw with bottom of the table side Nistru Otaci, where Iskra found themselves 2-0 down inside ten minutes before hitting back in the last fifteen minutes. Sheriff played Nistru recently in the cup, where they destroyed them 7-0 to add to the 7-1 gubbing they had given them in the league away from home.
Having noticed that Iskra's match against FC Costuleni a fortnight ago resulted in a 3-0 walkover for Cosuleni leads us to why this game is so interesting. It turns out that Iskra never turned up for that game in protest at not having been paid for the last four months. The players have hardly trained at all over the last few weeks and Iskra is a club on it's knees at the minute with efforts being made to try to save it from completely going under.
The Iskra manager was quoted after the Nistru game as saying ‘The players have not trained for a long time, and the morale of the guys is, well, not up to par' The players have also been involved in a bitter war of words with the club Chairman over not been paid and efforts are being made to get local government and businessmen to bale the club out.
Sheriff are currently sitting at odds of 1/4 from their opening 8/15 last night on Bet365. Over 2.5 goals in the game is holding up at 17/20 and Sheriff HT/FT is priced at 4/5. These prices may not hold if people start to realise what's going on here but if they do we'll be having a good go at Sheriff team goals. An early goal here could completly demoralise Iskra and with Sheriff out to improve their lead at the top they'll surely be looking to up their goal difference too if the opportunity arises.

Based on them being 1/4 with bet365, you’d only expect to get around 10/11 for over 2.5 Sheriff goals! Given that over 2.5 match goals is 17/20, that’s probably a safer bet as your talking about a Simalir price but aren’t soley relying on sheriff to score 3!

they dropped a fair bit when I tipped them with Spartak in the double they were 1.53 with Bet365 and Betvictor couple of the other games in the Divizia Nationala looks good if not better than the Sheriff game namely Milsami – Speranta Crihana Veche and Olimpia Balti – Otaci

So for example £5 on each one is a £15 stake and over 3.5gls clears your stake,anymore is the bonus

Sheriff cross town rivals FC also look good for a win today away 2 Rapid they are 1.62 @ paddy power they have won 16 of there last 20 only lost 1 and drew 3 Rapid are not a bad outfit themselves but have lost 5 of there last 11 and are a tad off form
When it comes to in play bets my personal preference in 2nd half betting, odds are pretty decent so if it stays 0-0 for quite a while i’ll be happy
