AUG 7: RANGERS v ST MIRREN BETTING PREVIEW

RANGERS launch their league campaign tonight an even shorter price than they were to lift the title last season.

To win tonight Gers are no bigger than 13-20 at McBookie with the Buddies 9-2 at William Hill and Ladbrokes and a draw 3-1 with McBookie.

After seeing 11 goals in Warburton's first two matches I'd consider over 2.5 goals at 31-40 with McBookie or even over 3.5 at 2-1 with McBookie and Hills – although Saints don't possess a huge goal threat and could struggle to hit the target. Gers -1 looks big at 7-4 with Hills and McBookie.

All nine of Rangers' goals have come after the 40-minute mark so it's worth looking at second half to be highest scoring at 19-20 with William Hill.

Martyn Waghorn is Gers' main man up front and is 9-2 at McBookie and Hills to score first. Defender James Tavernier has netted in the first two games and is 16-5 with boylesports to net at any time.
