I DON'T know what Mr Fixit was on last night but he tipped me a tennis player to score first.

He texted me yesterday morning and said, “Here's a good bet for tonight. Sevilla's Rebredo at 19-10 with unibet.”

Him being the boss I took him at his word and luckily regular reader Chris Guy pointed out we meant Negredo. To be fair to Mr Fixit it was an ace tip and he did the business before Sevilla went on to be crushed 5-1 at Getafe.

Today's Mr Fixit's backing Bayern Munich to beat Real Madrid in three sets!

It's Champions League semi-finals week and I can't wait for this one. Even the girlfriend's planning to watch as she loves German football – her favourite side are Hamburger. Mine's Cologne but not hers.

Seriously, it's strange to see Real as underdogs for the first leg in Germany at a biggest 7-4 with the likes of unibet and Coral.

However, it's understandable when you consider they've won eight and drawn one of the nine previous encounters in Munich.

Bayern have a tremendous European record at home, winning 14 of their last 15, and are slight favourites at 17-10 with Ladbrokes.

To qualify for the Final on their home ground they are 13-8 at Skybet but I'm siding with Real to set up an all-Spanish showdown against Barcelona. They are just 8-15 at unibet.

Tonight I think it's difficult to pick a winner. To me Real are the second best side on the planet and I like the prospects of a score draw with a stalemate paying 5-2 at BetVictor.

Rather than putting money on the result I'll be looking at both teams to score at 3-5 with William Hill as they have done in eight of nine previous Munich meetings. Over 3.5 goals at 21-10 with BetVictor and William Hill also has a chance.

Mario Gomez was rested for Bayern's 0-0 weekend draw at home to Mainz and has 11 Champions League goals this season. He is 11-2 with William Hill to net the opener and 6-4 at BetVictor to score at anytime.

Cristiano Ronaldo has netted an incredible 59 goals this season and it would be just like him to bag an away strike. He is 9-2 at Stan James to break the deadlock and 6-5 at Coral just to net.

Recommendations

Over 3.5 goals

(21-10, BetVictor, William Hill)

Gomez to score

(6-4, BetVictor)

Ronaldo to score

(6-5, Coral)

    Coventry v Millwall

Just a little tip for the guys that don’t know much about lower leagues. My brothers Team Millwall play tonight and should be full of confidence after their late revival. 3 wins on the spin has seen them push clear of relegation and secure Championship football for another year, on loan Tottenham Striker Harry Kane has scored 3 in 3 (all being first goal) in victories such as 2-0 at home to Hull, 1-0 away to Portsmouth and  the latest being a 2-1 victory against Leicester at the New Den. He’s currently on goal scoring form and will want to finish the season strong to send a clear message to Tottenham that he wants games or at least to let him go somewhere full time.

    Tip of the day
Harry Kane to score anytime @ 11/4 Bet365

Harry Kane First Goalscorer @ 17/2

Badham, might stick Kane on a Yankee or Lucky 15 with players such Adam Le Fondre (if he starts), Rickie Lambert, Ricardo Vaz Te and Stephen Dobbie.

Ive went £20 on real Madrid / bayer Munich at 33/1 and £10 other way around

I think Bayern Munich will def go for it because they need to win at home to have any chance of getting to the final. Also the fact that Gomez was rested suits me fine

Chris Guy, is it much lower odds for bayern to win from behind? Basically the same bet, but covers it if Madrid pull it back before half time or vice versa.

Yeah Fin only 12/1. I’d rather have the 33/1 but I see where your coming from
