TRIED a novel five (aways) to follow this weekend and It worked a treat.

In fact if hadn't been for the shortest-priced side Brighton, who were shocked by Hartlepool, it could have been even sweeter.

I advised betting fourfolds and fivefolds and in the end four came up – Hearts, Inverness, Cardiff and Crewe.

Inverness maintained their unbeaten away record in the SPL by coming from behind to win at Hamilton while Hearts made it three big successes in seven days with a 2-0 victory at St Johnstone.

Cardiff hit the top of the table with a 4-2 cruise at Scunthorpe and Crewe, at 2-1 the highest-priced of the teams, were convincing winners at struggling Gillingham.

The fourfold paid around 35-1 so not a bad profit but I still fell rocked by Brighton.

And after struggling with the five to follow I reckon it might be five (aways to follow) this weekend, depending on the fixtures.
