Chelsea to Score 2+

Chelsea travel to St Petersburg knowing they must at least match Juve’s result at home to Malmö if they wish to finish top of Group A.

With Juventus being heavy favourites, Thomas Tuchel will know his side will probably need to win but they’ll need to bounce back from their 3-2 defeat to London rivals West Ham on Saturday.

Zenit have already secured 3rd spot in Group A and are also two points clear in the Russian Premier League, but they could only draw 2-2 at home to a struggling Rostov side last time out.

Chelsea have scored in 9/10 away from home this season, scoring 2+ in six of them and with them needing a win to secure top spot, I’m backing them to score at least twice against a Zenit side that’s kept just two clean sheets at home in league and Europe so far this season.

Atalanta to Score 2+

Atalanta host Villarreal in Bergamo knowing they must win to qualify for the knockout stages, whereas Villarreal need just a point.

Gian Piero Gasperini’s side come into this flying, with their 2-3 win in Naples over then league leaders Napoli on Saturday making it five wins on the bounce for the Bergamo side.

Villarreal’s poor La Liga campaign continued at the weekend as they lost 1-0 to Sevilla, meaning it’s just one win in eight, leaving them 13th and just four points above the relegation zone.

Both sides come into this in contrasting form and with Atalanta scoring 13 goals in their last four at home, I’m backing them to score at least twice in a match they must win to secure 2nd spot.

Bayern Munich to Score 2+

Barcelona may come into this in 2nd spot but know if Benfica defeat Dynamo Kiev at home as expected, they must come away from Munich with all three points.

But Barca have already lost to Bayern 0-3 as well as losing 3-0 in Lisbon to Benfica in the group and new manager Xavi suffered his first defeat as Barca manager at home to Real Betis so confidence will be low.

Bayern won a controversial match 2-3 over perineal title rivals Borussia Dortmund on Saturday to go four points clear at the top of the Bundesliga.

Bayern have already topped the group and may rotate but I’m backing the German champions to continue their incredible scoring record this season by scoring at least twice against a poor Barcelona side.

Benfica to Score 2+

Benfica know if they have any hopes of making it to the last 16 then they’ll need to defeat Ukrainian champions Dynamo Kiev at the Estádio Da Luz.

Benfica lost 1-3 at home to bitter rivals Sporting Lisbon last time out but that was only their third at home this season, with Jorge Jesus side winning the other eight.

Dynamo Kiev are already eliminated from Group E and are guaranteed to finish bottom. The Ukrainians have collected just a solitary point in the group and have conceded nine times.

With Benfica needing to win and Dynamo Kiev only playing for pride, I’m backing the Portuguese champions to get the job done in Lisbon and I’m therefore happy to back them to score at least twice.
