View our expert's Goals Accumulator Tips & Predictions for Wednesday which features a both teams to score tip, an over 2.5 goals selection and two sides to score 2+ goals.

Our Goals Acca Tips are based on statistical analysis of recent performances.

Dynamo Kiev vs Fenerbahçe – Both Teams to Score

Both Dynamo Kiev and Fenerbahçe begin their quest for Champions League football on Wednesday evening, as the pair meet in the Polish city of Łódź.

Mircea Lucescu’s guided his side to a domestic treble in the 20/21 season and his side were positioned in second-spot, just two points behind Shakhtar Donetsk before their season was abruptly ended last season due to the Russian invasion.

Fenerbahçe also finished their season in second place, eight points behind surprise winners Trabzonspor and the capital club will look to go one better this season under new manager Jorge Jesus.

Fener found the back of the net in 43/48 of their league and European fixtures last season and given they only kept two clean sheets in their 10 fixtures in Europe, I’m happy to back both these sides to get on the scoresheet.

Ferencváros to Score 2+

Ferencváros will look to take a step closer to qualifying for the group-stages of this years Champions League, as they host Slovan Bratislava in the first leg of their second round qualifier at the Groupama Aréna.

After a goalless draw in Kazakhstan, Ferencváros thumped Tobol 5-1 in Budapest in the previous round and the Hungarian champions aim to make a return to the group-stages after failing to do so last year.

Slovan Bratislava also drew 0-0 in their first-leg with Dinamo Batumi in the Slovakian capital, but a goal in stoppage-time in extra time by ex-Rangers winger and son of the manager, Vladimír Weiss edged them past the Georgian champions.

Stanislav Cherchesov’s hosts scored in all seven of their European fixtures at home last season, scoring on multiple occasions in five of them and they should have too much firepower for the Slovakian champions.

FC Edinburgh vs Cowdenbeath – Over 2.5 Goals

Both FC Edinburgh and Cowdenbeath will look to claim their first win in the Scottish League Cup, as the pair meet at Meadowbank Stadium on Wednesday evening.

Alan Maybury’s hosts began their League Cup campaign with a credible 1-1 draw away at Airdrieonians, but were beaten 1-3 at home to Championship side Arbroath on Saturday.

It’s been a miserable League Cup campaign for Maurice Ross’ side, as his side have lost all three matches, conceding eight times and scoring none.

Two divisions now separate these sides and the difference in quality should tell and I’m happy to take a chance on there being three or more strikes in the capital.

Hibernian to Score 2+

Hibs will look to strengthen their position at the top of Group D, as they play host to Morton at Easter Road on Wednesday evening.

Lee Johnson’s hosts began with a routine 5-0 win at home to Clyde but The Hibees fell to a surprise 1-0 defeat by League One side Falkirk, before bouncing back with a 1-4 win at ambitious Bonnyrigg Rose.

Dougie Imrie’s Championship side began their League Cup campaign with a 0-0 draw at home to Falkirk, before suffering a disappointing 2-0 defeat at Clyde.

Given the contrasting starts these sides have made to the season coupled up with the difference in quality, I would be surprised if the hosts don’t score at least twice in Leith.

Does 2+ goals mean exactly 2 goals? or is it more than 2 goals?
