REAL MADRID look like the team to beat in Europe this season and we'll get an early idea how strong they are when they take on Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup tonight.
Carlo Ancelotti's side were in formidable form last season as they won both La Liga and the Champions League, with city rivals Atletico the only team to beat them across the entire campaign.
The worrying thing for rivals is that Real Madrid now look even stronger having added arguably the world's best player, Kylian Mbappe, to their squad along with Brazilian wonderkid Endrick.
So it's going to be a tall order for Europa League winners Atalanta to topple them in Warsaw tonight to get their hands on a second European trophy.
Star man Teun Koopmeiners is unlikely to feature having handed in a transfer request and Atalanta's results have been poor in pre-season, losing heavily to Parma and St Pauli.

Real Madrid v Atalanta top betting tips
It's no surprise to see Real Madrid as Betfred's 1/4 hot favourites to lift the trophy and the odds only increase to 4/9 if you back them to win in 90 minutes.
With Atalanta's defence looking leaky in pre-season it's probably best going for goals in this game, with over 2.5 Real strikes paying 13/8 and over 3.5 match goals available at the same price.
All eyes will be on Mbappe as he makes his Real Madrid bow but the Frenchman is just 10/11 for a goal. Brazilian winger Vincius Junior offers better value at 13/10 for anytime scorer.
Ademola Lookman was Atalanta's hero in the Europa League Final and he looks good value at evens for a shot on target tonight with Bet365.
Leeds United v Middlesbrough top tips
There's three ties in the English League Cup tonight and the clash between Leeds United and Middlesbrough should be the most exciting.
Championship title favourites Leeds needed a last-gasp goal to salvage a 3-3 draw with Portsmouth at the weekend while Boro kicked off with a 1-0 win over Swansea.
So I'm surprised to see Middlesbrough as big as 4/1 with Betfred for a win at Elland Road, which might be worth a speculative punt.
It's probably safer backing a close game and the half-time draw appeals at 7/5, while betting on most goals coming in the second half pays evens.
MOL Fehervar v Omonia Nicosia top tips
In the UEFA Conference League qualifiers, the pick of the tonight's two games sees Omonia Nicosia defend a 1-0 lead away to MOL Fehervar.
The Hungarians followed up that defeat in Cyprus by crashing to a 4-1 loss at Ujpest Dosa on domestic duty so they will need a big improvement.
With Fehervar looking ropey at the back, going for goals could pay off here and combining BTTS with over 2.5 goals pays 11/10 at Bet365.
The home side need to attack so there could be some value in backing them to win either half at 9/10.

Hi Cocker…followed you on this and the Real half already in the bag…are there particular games you would recommend using this on (like Macca does televised EPL games)…?
kf I normally go with 2 teams that are half decent . I`m going to start doing trixies when the EPL starts as a double up pays around 100/1 as for getting the right ones that can be a bit of a lucky dip mate

Hull v Sheff Wed 19:45
Over 3 Wednesday corners and over 1 Wednesday goal 20/21 Bet365
Sheff Wed scored four in their first game of the season against Plymouth and landed 15 corners. They’ve scored in their previous seven competitive fixtures. Hull conceded eight corners against Bristol City in their opener. The Tigers also conceded against City – and failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their pre-season fixtures. Good luck if you follow.
Over 9 corners in all three EFL Cup matches. 3.03/1 Bet365
Sorry, over 0 Wed goal, not 1.
Just been informed I’ve self excluded by 365. I didn’t. On chat they said it a management decision. It is permanent as it is on rarely used betfair account. Any advice why this should happen? I asked if it was something I did contrary to terms and they said no but they won’t comment further. What are next steps from anyone who has been in this situation before? Sorry to block up thread but it would be interesting to get any possible reason and steps forward from anyone.
Mob321 you can try an email Gamble Aware and tell them what happened I can’t believe how Bet 365 did this to you as you have to ask to be excluded by entering SENSE and both parties have to agree they should not have done this to you off their own back it is suspicious of bet 365 it looks like they wanted to get rid of you for no apparent reason also you can email the Gambling Commission and they will help you out and beleive you me they love taking on the bookies for what they do to customers i wish you good luck ps make surw bet 365 return all your money back and they must remove your name and details from any marketing databases it uses
Thank you Jolo. I will do as you say. I am extremely surprised that this happened out of the blue with no apparent reason. Also will this impact other betting platforms?
The bookies pretty much do as they please, especially if you were in profit. Out of interest was your account wining?
I suspect if any account was loosing money to a bookie they would do everything in their power to keep it open. There’s plenty of instances of bookies suspending\closing accounts but you will find nada of any where they close accounts if you’re a punter. They will limit your account to minimal stakes or ask for all sorts of documents and suspend your account if you are taking money from them
Thanks Terry. I was doing ok over a number of years. By that I’m talking a few hundred profit each year. Nothing special. Just a hobby really.
That’s probably worse than an account that’s been newly opened and won a small number of bets over a short period of time. If you’ve shown you can maintain profit, albeit a small profit but over a prolonged period of time then they have nothing to gain and your account would’ve been flagged as a high risk.

That’s a bit of a worry always found 365 to be one of the fairer and more tolerant bookies hope they aren’t changing their stance. Agree with Terry, making a regular profit in the long run no matter how small is a red flag to the bookies. They don’t mind you winning big if they’re confident they’ll get it back from you over time. Best of luck mob but to be honest I don’t think you’ll have any luck trying to change their mind.
