Following Tuesday’s action-packed programme of three matches, Wednesday promises to be even more exciting, with no fewer than four La Liga matches on the cards.

In the early rounds, we saw more than one or two slip-ups from the big favourites. How many more surprises like that will we see tomorrow?

Below, you’ll find our expert tips and predictions for each of Wednesday’s La Liga matches.

Today’s La Liga betting tips & predictions

Atletico Madrid vs. Osasuna (6pm)

Atletico Madrid bounced back from their unexpected heavy defeat to Bilbao with a phenomenal performance against Real Sociedad, and now have the chance to take a big step up the table against an inconsistent Osasuna.

The visitors started the season reasonably well with a draw and two wins, but have lost their last two matches by heavy margins.

The safer option is to back an Atletico win and over 1.5 goals, but I reckon this match could easily see more than three goals.

La Coruna vs. Sevilla (6pm)

La Coruna continue to pleasantly surprise us, remaining unbeaten since their return to the top flight.

Sevilla, too, have made such a strong start for the first time in five seasons, but their defensive problems persist. The team have kept just three clean sheets since the start of the year, having played a total of 26 matches.

That is precisely why we certainly cannot overlook the market for both teams to score. Alternatively, you can try a goal for Aubameyang, as the 37-year-old veteran has scored in every single match this season (5).

Barcelona vs. Racing Santander (8:30pm)

Barcelona had a surprisingly tough time against Levante, although they eventually sealed the win and triumphed 4–2, thereby maintaining their perfect start to the season, which now includes six wins.

What is even more impressive – and certainly daunting for their opponents – is that Barcelona have scored 26 goals in those six matches. This is certainly not good news for Racing Santander, who concede an average of nearly two goals per match.

The bookmakers are offering ridiculous odds on most markets and are expecting at least five goals in the match. This is entirely possible, but the only market offering value is Both Teams to Score, although there is a clear risk involved.

Levante vs. Athletic Bilbao (8:30pm)

Barcelona have finally brought an end to Levante’s long winning streak at home, which stood at six consecutive victories. Overall, their form has been fairly consistent and they are fully capable of beating most teams.

Bilbao recorded a disappointing draw against Elche, which they will certainly come to regret in time. But overall, the team is on the up and can be expected to put in a strong performance against a side that, on paper, is weaker.

In my opinion, there will be goals in this match too, and I like the odds on over 1.5 goals in the second half. I expect the outcome to be decided in the closing minutes, so 6/5 is well worth it.
