No joy last week but congratulations must be said of Rory McIlroy for his win at the Players, now favourite for the Masters.
This week the US tour moves to the Copperhead golf course as part of the Florida swing, a tough Par 71 course at 7340 yards.
Previous winners of this event have mainly been very straight hitters and good and accurate iron players.
Three for this week are
WEBB SIMPSON…..a solid performer who is a good straight driver, has excellent course form and sure to be in the shake up come Sunday
GARY WOODLAND…. a golfer in superb form and is still flying under the radar most weeks. His first tour win was achieved on this course and his short game could be the key this week.
LUCAS GLOVER…..once again an improved player especially in the putting stats which has seen him rise from 149 in the world to a career high of 84. An accurate player with a new found putting technique he can figure come Sunday.
