Robbed of a 2-1 win by an overly generous referee, Steve Clarke's will still be delighted with a 2-2 draw against a Dutch side rated 12/1 shots to win Euro 2020.
It was a result that probably left punters out of pocket but things were a bit more straight-forward in the other two matches featuring British sides. As expected, England won 1-0 against Austria in Middlesborough while 10-man Wales were soundly beaten by Euro 2020 favourites France.
Germany huffed and puffed to a 1-1 draw with Denmark and although they ‘can never be written off' they're a poor option at just 7/1 to be triumphant at Wembley on July 11th.
We'll get a closer look at the team ranked No.1 in the world and third favourites to lift the Henri Delaunay Trophy, Belgium. Roberto Martinez's side meet Greece in Brussels and have been very impressive in qualifying. With a favourable draw on paper the Belgians are expected to go deep in to the tournament.
They're just 1/3 to win against the Greeks and definitely one for Thursday's Accas.
Elsewhere Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland are in friendly action and both have a bit of a rebuilding job on their hands.
Stephen Kenny's side face Andorra and are just 1/6 to win but the win to nil appeals at 8/13 against the shot-shy minnows.
Things will be a little tougher for Northern Ireland who are up against a Ukraine side warming up for the Euros. Ian Baraclough's side are usually tough to break down but under 2.5 goals is a bit short at 8/15. No goal before 35 mins would make more appeal at 5/6 (Bet365).

USA vs Honduras
Actually had this game down as 00:30 on the 5th but realised it’s tonight.
Have formed a bit of a love affair with this current USA team and have been keeping an eye on them for a while now. One of the best American teams I have seen in years and some really good young players coming through both at home and at a good level throughout Europe. They have no issues squad wise and should play a strong team here. This game is being played in Denver , and should have fans in attendance for a home game atmosphere. This is like the finals of the nations league here, with Mexico and Costa Rica in the other game. The winner of this will go into the final at the same stadium on Sunday where there is a trophy up for grabs , and the noise coming out the American camp is they are determined to win it.
I would expect Honduras to go defensive as anything else has the potential to see them picked apart, but think there’s some good value to be had in the prices.
In their last 4 games they have been beaten by Greece, drawn with a ten man Belarus, been beaten by Guatemala and drawn against ten man Nicaragua. Will take that at face value as covid issues and lockdowns could have played a part , but it’s hardly the form you want to be taking into a game against a USA team who have won 5 games in the same period , losing one, and scoring 26 goals. They may have struggled against Switzerland the other night but I believe they had been doing altitude training for this game while there and heavy legs may have been a bit of an issue on top of the fact the Swiss are no mugs.
There aren’t quite the full markets I would have liked as would have been interested to see USA team corners ( will check again near kick off time)
