ENGLAND took the points but not the plaudits in their Euro 2024 opener and fans will be hoping for a more convincing display when the Three Lions face Denmark this evening.
Jude Bellingham brought up one of Sunday's Super Singles when he bulleted home an early header against Serbia but that was as good as it got for the English and they had to hold on for a 1-0 win.
Gareth Southgate will take heart from the fact his new-look defence managed to keep a clean sheet and he will be looking for them to rack up another against the Danes.
Kasper Hjulmand's side also failed failed to build on an early goal in their opener Group C opener and ended up paying the price as Slovenia grabbed a late leveller.
They will need a win from their final two games to get into the knockout stages and Hjulmand will want to get job done tonight rather than sweating on their final game with the Serbs.

Denmark vs England Top Betting Tips
There wasn't much goalmouth action in both Group C openers so it could pay to back another tight game but under 2.5 goals only pays 4/6 at Betfred. The half-time draw offers more value with that bet priced at 11/10.
Harry Kane was starved of service in England's opener but showed how dangerous he is with a header that was tipped onto the bar in his only real sight of goal. The Bayern Munich striker is 5/4 for anytime scorer and I fancy him to get off the mark.

Spain vs Italy Top Tips
The late game tonight has the potential to be a cracker as big guns Spain and Italy do battle in the Group of Death.
Both teams look likely to survive in the tournament's most cut-throat section having opened up with wins over Croatia and Albania respectively.

Yes same stake every game, there was an own goal in the first game, then nothing until the 10th game so that brought me back to where I started more or less but then there was 3 in quick succession so in very good profit up to now, you need patience though as there won’t be 1 every game. The key is to stick at it. If that one was given last night it would have been amazing.

Football has moved on from what it used to be especially at International level which nowadays is played at hell of a pace and with that comes mistakes especially in the penalty area. Internationals used to be boring but now it’s more like club football and that’s why we see a plethora of og’s. Having said that though if it were the World Cup then probably not as many as South Americans pride themselves on defending.
