WEST HAM UNITED are looking to reach a European semi-final for a third successive year but face a daunting task tonight as they take on a Bayer Leverkusen side who have yet to lose this season.

The Bundesliga title is all but in the bag for Xabi Alonso's side and the in-demand manager has given the club a massive boost by revealing he won't be leaving in the summer.

Now Leverkusen fans are dreaming of an incredible double as they look to rule Germany and get their hands on the Europa League trophy.

West Ham will present a tough hurdle in the quarter-finals but they are rank outsiders tonight at 13/2 with Bet365.

David Moyes' men will be a threat on the break so BTTS looks decent value at a best 16/19 with VBet. Combining that with over 2.5 goals boosts the odds to 23/20 at BoyleSports.

Granit Xhaka was always good value for a card in his Arsenal days and the Leverkusen midfielder is 7/2 at LiveScoreBet to go in the book again.

The game to watch for armchair fans should be Liverpool's clash with Atalanta at Anfield as both managers always set up to attack.

Combining BTTS with over 2.5 goals pays evens at BoyleSport while over 1.5 first-half goals pays 11/10 with Bet365.

There's an all-Italian clash at the San Siro as Milan host Roma and familiarity breeds contempt so I fancy hothead Roma stopper Gialuca Mancini for a card at 8/5 (Bet365).

In the Europa Conference League, Aston Villa are still heavy favourites to go all the way but they have a tricky tie against a Lille side in decent form.

Ollie Watkins just can't stop scoring at the moment and looks good at 13/10 (Betfred) for another goal after his weekend double.

Sparks should fly in Greece as Olympiakos collide with Turkish side Fenerbahce so backing a busy night for the ref looks the smart move.

A sending-off looks worth a punt at 40/17 with VBet while Fenerbahce are evens at McBookie to pick up most cards.

Super Singles

  • Over 1.5 first-half goals at Anfield 11/10 Bet365
  • Fenerbahce most cards Evs McBookie

Plenty of winners on the site again yesterday. Well done all.
Today I’m on the hunt for goals in Slovenia.
Koper host bottom of the league aluminij.
Koper have seen o2.5 in 3 of their last 5 home gamesand btts in 4
Aluminij recent form isn’t great and when you only look at away games it’s even worse. They’ve only scored in 2/5 but have seen o2.5 in 3.
The h2hs are what attracted me to this game. 3 meetings since October and they’ve produced 3,5 and 5 goals. All 3 with btts. Because of away form I’m happy to go for just overs.
    O2.5 mgls @ 17/20 will do me.
    Good luck all

For those of you wishing to stay closer to home. There is a fixture in the national league that I fancy for goals also.
Wealdstone-dorking. Both teams are currently involved in a relegation battle and are in desperate need of points. Because they are both pretty poor I’m discounting form (both lose to most teams) and focusing on the h2hs.
Since 2019 they have met 6 times. All of which have seen btts + o2.5. 5 have gone o3.5.

    English Women’s National League
Huddersfield Women v Nottingham Forest LFC
    11 Apr 19:45

Huddersfield women to score 9-5 BETWAY ⚽

(Yet again William hills bottom of the pile with BTTS just 6-4, absolute crud they are with goals prices.
Half the time they won’t even quote team to score such is their fear of punters taking money off them)

ThiscPrice is big but it’s not beyond hope as Huddersfield scored away to forest a month ago in a 2-1 defeat.

    Benfica v Marseille
50+ booking points and 8+ match corners 11/10 Sky

Marseille have seen 50+ booking points in 8/9 European matches and 60+ booking points in 7/9. Ref Michael Oliver has handed out five yellows or more in four of his five European games this season. All of Benfica’s games in Europe so far have seen at least eight match corners.

    Liverpool v Atalanta
Liverpool 2+ goals and 7+ Liverpool corners 5/4 Sky

Liverpool have only failed to hit two or more at home to City, Arsenal and United this season. They have managed at least seven corners in 13/14 home games.

Playing two singles and a double just under 4/1. Good luck

    COPA LIBERTADORES 11PM

Didnt bother tipping up on Europa league tonight had a feeling the 1st legs on the whole wouldn’t be as goal laden as they looked. Fingers crossed for punters that changes 2nd half. I’m focusing on a team very strong at home and play at a really high altitude giving them quite an advantage.

    BOLIVAR to score 2+
    4/5 NAP (Sky)

BOLIVAR win and 5+ team crns
    7/4 NB (SkyBab)

    BOLIVAR 10+ team crns

How many times do we see it.. a manger making wholesale changes for a match hoping to win out with half a team and then going behind and bringing on all the players they were trying to rest in the first place. And all this while going out of a competition at the business end. I’ll never understand it. Should always put your best team out get the job done and then think about who you can rest.

Agree 100%. Arrogance before the fall.

Liverpool couldn’t even manage to get a single goal back either! The bookies must have made an absolute killing on that game – especially as the > 2.5 goals market was only priced around the 1.45 mark.

I’ll be hammering into Liverpool goals for the away leg and backing them to win the EL outright too, I can see them doing a similar job to the one they did on Barca, albeit it won’t be at Anfield.. the flags and banners protest sure did backfire spectacularly though!
