Eight teams will move forward after Thursday’s Europa League round to face the top eight from the League Phase, while the rest will return home empty-handed.
For some, this is the only remaining chance for silverware this season, and some are already with one foot out of the competition after suffering heavy defeats in the first leg.
Don’t miss any of the action with our expert tips and predictions for Thursday’s Europa League games.
Today’s Europa League betting tips & predictions
Crvena zvezda vs. Lille (5:45pm)
Few people expected Crvena zvezda to beat Lille in France last week, but the Mastiffs are completely out of form.
The Serbian side actually won both matches against them this season, as they met in the League Phase too.
Playing at Stadion Rajko Mitic has always been hard even for the best of teams, and we expect Lille to exit the competition.
Crvena zvezda vs. Lille top betting tip: Crvena zvezda to qualify in regulation, Under 2.5 goals
Ferencvaros vs. Ludogorets (5:45pm)
Ferencvaros and Ludogorets are simply linked at this stage, as this will be their ninth match in the last seven years.
The teams have already played four times in the current campaign, with Ludogorets winning for the first time last week.
However, history remembers their problems at this stadium, and we expect the hosts to take revenge, with 3+ goals likely to be scored again. Three of the four clashes this season covered the line.
Ferencvaros vs. Ludogorets top betting tip: Ferencvaros to win, Over 2.5 goals
Viktoria Plzen vs. Panathinaikos (5:45pm)
Another pair of teams that have already played each other more than once, with both matches ending in complete draws.
It is quite likely that we will see more of the same, but we believe that Plzeň are in much better form and are phenomenal hosts.
Alternatively, we are considering backing over 4.5 cards in the match, given that both matches so far have covered the line (5 & 8 cards).
Viktoria Plzen vs. Panathinaikos top betting tip: Plzen to qualify, Over 4.5 cards
Stuttgart vs. Celtic (5:45pm)
Stuttgart's dominance in the first match was worrying, and they even had a goal disallowed, which would have made the result even more painful for Celtic.
We expect more of the same in the second match, given the hosts' incredible form. Celtic are sure to score in an attempt to bridge the gap, so BTTS & Over 2.5 are two top options.
Stuttgart vs. Celtic top betting tip: BTTS
Bologna vs. Brann (8pm)
Bologna secured a slight advantage after the first leg, but they have reason to be concerned after another Norwegian team eliminated Inter on Tuesday.
These two teams have already played twice in the tournament, with one match being in the League Phase. The commonality between the matches so far is that we have seen only one goal in both games.
Given the hosts' less-than-impressive form, we expect more of the same and solid defensive play. Corners are also an option, as both matches covered the standard lines.
Bologna vs. Brann top betting tip: Under 2.5 goals, Over 9.5 corners
Celta Vigo vs. PAOK (8pm)
Celta Vigo put on a spectacular performance in Thessaloniki and extended their winning streak against Greek teams.
PAOK have never won a match in Spain and are currently far from their best form, with only one win in their last five matches.
We expect Celta Vigo to win the second match as well, and you can expect goals because the hosts are in phenomenal home form.
Celta Vigo vs. PAOK top betting tip: Celta to win, Over 1.5 Celta goals
Genk vs. Dinamo Zagreb (8pm)
Genk won convincingly 3-1 in the first match, but nothing is over yet, because Dinamo Zagreb are in good form and there is quite an interesting history between these teams.
Dinamo and Genk met in the tournament in 2021, when the Croatian team won 3-0 away. To date, this is the last time a visiting team has scored three goals against Genk in Europe.
That's why we expect a lot of action in this match, and we plan to bet on over 2.5 goals instead of looking for a winner.
Genk vs. Dinamo Zagreb top betting tip: Over 2.5 goals
Nottingham Forest vs. Fenerbahce (8pm)
Nottingham Forest dominated the first match, but Fenerbahçe are a dangerous opponent, and we cannot rule them out even after a 3-0 defeat.
The visitors have not lost away from home since September in all competitions, but the problem is that they have not faced a team of this caliber.
An interesting fact is that Fenerbahçe's last victory in England was 30 years ago, in 1996. However, we expect a little more from them in the second leg, as they have nothing to lose.
