The Voice of Value: Escobar not to be sniffed at

THE football may be dominating the headlines but don’t forget about today’s racing. 

I just have the two bets today but both are nice each way chances at Sandown.

12.55pm Sandown

The first one that I like is ESCOBAR for David O’Meara and ridden by Danny Tudhope. He finished in midfield in a massively competitive Royal Hunt Cup at Ascot and this is much calmer stuff now. With Tudhope taking over the ride I can’t see him finishing out of the frame.

1.30pm Sandown

AWESOMETANK is a really admirable filly. She has won nicely when I have tipped her in the past and although she is climbing up the weights as a result of another win at the end of May I think William Haggas can continue to get improvement out of her. She looks a strong each way shout again to me. James Doyle rode her last time and is a strong help too.
