IT'S felt like the longest summer ever but good to have proper football back.
I've picked out two doubles from tonight focusing on English, German and French football.
Union Berlin v Holstein (5.30pm)
Early days in the second tier in Germany but Union are already trying to justify why they will be one of the favourites for this league. They host newly-promoted Holstein who despite a decent draw last week will find this a tough assignment and I'm taking the hosts to make it two wins from two.
Sunderland v Derby (7.45pm)
It’s been a miserable summer for the Black Cats – relegated, no money and their best players leaving. Then there’s the pre-season results that included two hammerings by Scottish opposition (3-0 and 5-0 against St Johnstone and Celtic respectively). Derby have lost a couple of key men but have managed to keep the core of last year's team. Nothing to suggest Sunderland are going to win this.
Greg's Double
- Union Berlin
- Derby not to lose
- (8-5, Betfred)
It's week two in French Ligue 2 and it’s always tough at the start of a new season – probably take until week five to gauge how teams will do and where the goals will be. Picked out two for goals.
Greg's Goals Double
- Chateauroux v Valenciennes (7pm)
- Le Havre v Auxerre (7pm)
- Over 1.5 match goals double 11-10
- All 8 matches over 1.5 goals 14-1
There are 9 matches tonight Greg, pays 20/1 +
