FORGET about the EPL, all eyes should be on the Armenian 1st Division and the Belgian Reserve league.
I’ve been keeping an eye on this league over the last few weeks and we’ve seen some cricket scores (even seen the famous Perth St Johnstone played here in the Europa Legaue).
Two matches today that stand out.
Ararat Moskova v Artsekh (2pm)
The visitors are absolutely flying and to say they are goal machines is an understatement. They have won their last 7 games (4-0 5-0 12-0 4-1 5-2 4-1 7-0).
I make that 41 goals scored in 7 games – if you find another team who have scored more in their last 7 let me know. They play an Ararat side who are in decent shape themselves and are strong at home. I can’t ignore the scoring record of either side and this looks a solid shout for goals.
Alashkert II v Erebuni
Another match where we have a team who love a goal, sadly for them it’s conceding them – step forward Erebuni. They have the worst defensive record in the league having conceded 74 goals in 22 games.
And incredibly have conceded 20 goals in their last 4 away matches against opposition similar if not worse than today’s opponents.
- Over 2.5 goals double
- ) ( NAP)
- Over 3.5 match goals (will be around 10-11) – 2 singles
Kortrijk Res v Sint Truiden (6.30pm)
My favourite clubs for goals meet tonight in the Belgian Reserve League. Don’t need to say too much about these two – both score and concede plenty. Scores such as 3-2 and 3-1 are common and could be the same again tonight.
- Over 3.5 match goals (will appear inplay)
