ONLY seven days to go till the big show kicks off. Another slim card today but sill enough to warrant posting something.

Nothing flash here – two teams who I expect to win are England and France U20s.

England v Costa Rica (8pm)

France U20s v Canada U21s (3pm)

We all know how good England’s Friendly record is at home and as they so often do, they will grind out 1-0 or 2-0 win against a side who are enjoying the dizzy heights of the top 25 in FIFA’s rankings. They cruised to a 3-0 win against NI but this is much tougher.

At the Toulon Tournament, hosts France face Canada in the fith-place play-off. This will be a really tough game for the French but like England, I think they’ll edge it.

  • Back England/France U20 double
  • (11-10, Betway) (NAP)
