BETFRED CUP action continues today in Scotland after last night's opener and while I agree with Mr F to go easy on these games there are still a good few matches I like the look of.

Joint Championship favourites Dundee United kick off this cup campaign against Arbroath who were promoted to League One last season – United mean business this season wth some good signings and although for me the jury is still out on Csaba Laszlo they have recruited well and should win this comfortably – 4-9 is a generous price for this game.

The famous Perth St Johnstone kick off against East Fife and new sigining Tony Watt is expected to make his competitive debut. The squad is starting to take shape and our record against teams from lower leagues is exceptional. We should make light work of this scoring a few goals.

Greg's Double (3pm)

  • Dundee United
  • St Johnstone v East Fife over 2.5 goals
  • (11-10, Ladbrokes) (NAP)
