WAS pleased yesterday’s NAP landed – nothing flash today. Two bets from me.

Been no shortage of goals in Mainz games recently with 6 of their last 7 seeing over 2.5 goals with both sides scoring.

Twenty-seven goals were notched in those matches, sadly for Mainz 17 came against them. For a team who have conceded 2 or more goals in 7 consecutive games you have to fear for them against a Leverkusen side who know where the goal is and who’ll be keen to home in on the second place that 6-7 clubs are playing for. Mainz do score goals so be no surprise to see both sides scoring here.

FA Cup action and although Man City will ring the changes I’d still expect them to score a couple here. As we’ve already seen in this competition it’s not unreasonable to think Cardiff will get on the scoresheet. City to bring this in themselves or helped by a Cardiff consolation.
