HAD a chat with Mr F and from now on I’m going to post a “week ahead” preview every Sunday night.
This will mark out the games between Monday and Thursday and will give people the heads-up of the matches I’ll be focusing on. It will be as beneficial to me as I’m hoping it will be for some of you.

Mondays are an extremely busy day again thanks to the return of the Scottish and Belgium reserve leagues.
- Czech Rep U21 league (10am-2pm)
- SPFL Reserve League (2pm)
- Vanarama Conference (3pm)
- Conference North / South (3pm)
- Swedish leagues (6pm)
- Belgium Reserve League 6.30pm)
Some big games also across the top leagues with Man U hosting Spurs and Roma playing Atalanta. My picks will be coming from Scotland and Belgium and with the bank holidays comes the English lower leagues.
Tuesday Aug 28
- SPFL Reserve League (2pm)
- French Cup (7pm)
- English League Cup (21 games) (7.45pm)
Wednesday Aug 29
It’s cup day across Europe with dozens of games from Croatia, Turkey and the Czech Republic – not much else doing other than the 4 English League Cup games and a few Champions League qualifiers.
Thursday Aug 30
- Europa League play-off 2nd legs (3-8.45pm)
