My pre-tournament selections are going well and with a week to go things are looking good in the Women's Singles, hopefully we can get three players into the semi-finals.
Women's Singles
After advising four players to win their quarter and to win the tournament three players remain in contention with the only player out being Jelena Ostapenko and there's still some value to be had.
My main selection was GARBINE MUGURUZA who is my Nap/Nb to win Quarter 3 and my main selection to win the tournament, the other three players I advised were ELINA SVITOLINA & MARIA SHARAPOVA still in but JELENA OSTAPENKO is out.

Pre tournament write up
Garbine looks excellent value to get to the semi final, I don't think there is a tennis player male or female playing better than the Spaniard at the moment, at the start of the tournament I couldn't see anyone really troubling her to win her second successive slam tournament but that has changed with more research and by watching a match early Tuesday morning when I watched Maria Sharapova beat Simona Halep, for all Sharapova has been through I would like to see her win again and watching her against Halep she certainly could win but a Muguruza V Sharapova semi final would be a great battle,
Muguruza is strong and powerful which was evident last week in Cincinnati where she was in the form of her life, in the Semi Final she beat World Number One Karolina Pliskova 6-3 6-2 and then in the final she beat World Number Two Simona Halep 6-1 6-0
Halep knew a win would put her at number one in the world but she was simply blown away by Muguruza, Halep is definitely one of the best baseline players in the women's game but even she couldn't handle Muguruza's power and accuracy, while I like Muguruza for the title there are dangers but the winner should come from either MUGURUZA 4/1, OSTAPENKO 28/1, SHARAPOVA 8/1 or SVITOLINA 10/1
I have also backed all four of these women to win the tournament with 2 points on Muguruza, 1 point on Sharapova & Svitolina and 1/2 point on Ostapenko
