AFTER the shock exit of tournament favourite Novak Djokovic, William Hill make Rafa Nadal their new 10-11 favourite to win the Aussie Open.
Djokovic’s conqueror Stanislas Wawrinka is 11-2 second favourite to go all the way. He was a whopping 33-1 before.
Britain’s sole survivor Andy Murray is 1-1 to beat Federer on Wednesday morning and 6-1 to win the title.
“Stan is very much the man for us as that was a fantastic result for bookmakers,” said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.
Outrights (William Hill): 10-11 Nadal, 11-2 Wawrinka, 6-1 Murray, Federer, 9-1 Berdych, 50-1 Dimitrov.

Simona Halep v Dominika Cibulkova should be a very interesting match. Even though Halep didn’t start the year very good she had an amazing 2013. She has the chance to get in Top10 and it’s making a strong tournament at Melbourne. She won pretty easily against Jankovic while Cibulkova already provoked a big surprise by eliminating Sharapova.

In men’s tournament Nadal will probably win but I fancy a semifinal against Federer. In the other semifinal Berdich shouldn’t have any big problems against a tired Wawrinka.
any tips for the murray – Federer match or nadal match
I think Federer will win against Murray. He changed his racket and substantially increased his game. Last year he had very few wins against players from Top8 but it seems this year will be different. He won easily against Tsonga in the last round and made a good tournament overall.
Federer already played a final this year at Brisbane while Murray didn’t play too much in the last months.
It would probably go in 4 sets but I think Federer will be the winner at the end of the match.
On the other hand, Nadal shouldn’t have any problems against Dimitrov, quarter finals is more than enough for him. The odds are too low for Nadal so I would go with a 3-0 win.

Cibulkova is killing Halep, totally didn’t expect that kind of play from her. Not to mention Halep’s poor forehand.
@abbas I can’t see Nadal losing 2 sets. Also, in Federer-Murray I believe neither of them has the fitness condition for a 5 sets match.

How about federer or murray to win 1st set and lose match, both 5/1. I had a couple these bets up at Wimbledon on murray as he always took time to adjust to certain players games but he’ll know exactly what he gets wi fed. Will still have a go on fed to win 1st set and lose match tho :)

I missed half 1st set as was uo til half 3 wi kids but murray always takes a while to get going in most matches, still in the game but he’ll have to play some of his best tennis to come back here, berdych and wawrinka in other semi and looks like fed nadal in other

Talk about winner a set the hard way.Stamina could be a problem for Federer now.
There it is :) starting to play alot better since he changed his shirt haha, still long way to go but could be in for a classic 3/4 hr + match, hopefully fed tires but not much chance of that happening
