FOR years I've put up a Super Single – a bet I like that pays at least evens if possible.

It's not a banker bet because every selection at evens has a one in two chance of coming up.

My success rate with the Super Single has been pretty decent but less spectacular in recent months.

In the main I do WDW picks – maybe because the best goals bets are below evens – but other markets are tackled such as players to score, teams to score 2+ and handicap markets. And sometimes I do two or three short-priced sides to make up an evens or better accumulator.

The Super Single and all my usual tips will remain free to see for everyone but for members only I'm starting a Super Super Single experiment.

This will involve choosing a single -and it will always be a single selection – at odds of 2-1 or higher. I'm going to invest 10 points on five 2pt Super Super Singles and see where it takes me.

At the price I should need two out of five to break even or make a profit. That's what I meant to say earlier.

Anyone interested can follow this on the new forum under Your Bets and Betting Challenges and the advice would be if you haven't go 10 points to spare just watch it initially.

How on earth do you break even if 1 bet out of 5 wins at 2-1, Mr F?

arab scarf, I know – it was a typo and has been fixed. Sometimes the brain doesn’t write what it’s told. You ever had that?
