IT was a fairly dull day in the EPL until Newcastle sparked to life to see off Liverpool in the evening kick-off.
However, it could be super Sunday and magical Monday with four of the top five up against each other.
There is a much-anticipated clash between Spurs and Chelsea at White Hart Lane and could this see the start of a changing of the guard.
Having qualified for the Champions League and reached the last 16, boss Harry Redknapp doesn't any reason why Spurs can't progress further and in time lift the title.
That's some ambition but fo just now he'll be happy to see a Chelsea side who have been stuttering in recent weeks.
One win in six league games has piled pressure on Carlo Ancelotti and despite no sign of improvement Spurs are still available at 2-1 with the likes of Chandler.
The Blues are 6-4 favourites with Ladbrokes and Paddy Power but don't justify that status on current form.
There is no doubt Spurs, who have destroyed sides such as Inter and Werder Bremen at the Lane this season, will be well backed and I think they'll come through in a match which sees both sides score (4-6, bodog).
If you think Spurs will win after a slow star consider 11-2 with William Hill on drawHT/Spurs FT.
Last week Leighton Baines gave Chelsea's attack a tough time as Everton grabbed a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge and there is the possibility of Gareth Bale causing even more problems. Bale has been one of the players of the season and is 10-1 with bet365 and Paddy Power to score first and 7-2 with Paddy Power to net at any time.
Chelsea's main threat wil come from Didier Drogba who is 11-2 at Coral to break the deadlock while Spurs hotshot Jermain Defoe is 6-1 with the same firm.
Bolton tackle Blackburn in a clash that should go to the side with home advantage. Owen Coyle's men are generally evens to put one over their near rivals who haven't travelled well this season.
However, Rovers (11-4, Chandler) have netted in every away game bar one so look at both teams to score (8-11, Betfred).
The third EPL clash sees another derby with Birmingham heading to Wolves. Mick McCarthy's home men are in relegation trouble after two wins in 10 but Birmingham are heading in the other direction after just two defeats in 10. Look at City who are 2-1 with bet365 and William Hill while Wolves are a best 6-4 at Chandler.
SUPER SINGLE
- Bale to score (7-2, Paddy Power)
