Sunday’s football tips: Ange should come out all guns blazing against United

Ange Postecoglou is clinging to the Tottenham job with his fingernails and badly needs a win when Manchester United come calling in the Premier League this afternoon.

The Spurs boss is under increasing pressure after crashing out of two cup competitions within a week and the Europa League represents the only chance to salvage something from their season.

Results have been almost as poor for Ruben Amorim since he took the reins at Old Trafford but his side have now won five of their last seven and will be out to pile on the misery for Postecoglou.

Postecoglou can take heart from his record against the Red Devils, with Spurs unbeaten in four in this fixture since he took the reins. They've won three of those matches, including 3-0 and 4-3 triumphs in league and cup this season.

That clash in EFL Cup was an error-strewn thrill ride and we should see plenty of goals today as the Tottenham boss seeks a return to winning ways.
