DUNDEE and Ayr both need a win at Dens tonight if they’re to reel in Queen’s Park at the top of the Championship.

The Spiders moved seven points clear of the Dark Blues on Saturday with a win over Inverness while Gary Bowyer’s men were drawing with Partick.

Ayr were the other big weekend winners as a 2-0 victory at Hamilton moved them just a point behind Dundee.

That was the perfect way to bounce back from their Cup loss to Falkirk and three more points tonight would fire the Honest Men right into the title mix.

But McBookie make Lee Bullen’s men 14/5 outsiders with the home win just 5/6 and a draw paying 5/2.

Going for goals backfired on me with Dundee on Saturday but this should be more open with both sides chasing a victory.

BTTS pays just 4/5 at Bet365 but over 2.5 goals is a little better at 17/20 with the same firm. Backing over 1.5 first-half goals boosts the odds to 13/8 at McBookie.

Stirling can go top in League Two with a home win over Forfar tonight and McBookie make them 4/5 favourites.

But the Loons have lost just one in nine so it won’t be easy and I like over 2.5 goals at 17/20 (Bet365). The half-time draw also stands a chance at 13/10 (VBet).

Albion Rovers shocked leaders Dumbarton with a 5-1 win on Saturday and look good value at 27/20 (QuinnBet) to beat Stranraer at home tonight.

  • Super singles: Over 2.5 goals at Stirling (17/20, Bet365). Albion win (27/20, QuinnBet).
McBookie bet builder: Combining BTTS and over 2.5 goals at Dens pays 114/100.

Can’t believe Albion Rovers went from beating the leaders 5-1 away to losing against 10 men at home. At least things went well at Dens
