After delivering a full house of winners on Wednesday, SlipsTips has lined up a goals bet ahead of Ukraine's Group C clash with North Macedonia in Bucharest on Thursday.
Ukraine vs North Macedonia (Thursday, 14:00)
Both Ukraine and North Macedonia will be desperate to get their respective Euro 2020 campaigns back on track when they collide in Bucharest on Thursday afternoon.
I've already penned a separate match preview for this Group A encounter and I'm going to focus on one of those recommended bets for the purposes of my featured column.
Andriy Shevchenko's side are priced up at 10/11 (Betfred) to score two more goals against North Macedonia and that looks like a nice angle of attack.
The Blue and Yellow have made the net bulge at least once in nine of their last 10 international tussles.
That sample includes two competitive contests with Germany and a recent World Cup qualifier with much-fancied France, not to mention Ukraine notched twice in the Netherlands backyard last time out.
North Macedonia, on the other hand, are dining at Europe's top table for the first time in their history and they were given a baptism of fire when falling to a 3-1 defeat against Austria in their Group C curtain-raiser.
That means the Red Lynxes have now leaked at least one goal in eight of their last nine competitive contests and that defensive fragility does not bode well for the lowest-ranked team at the tournament.
Indeed, North Macedonia have scored in each of their last six matches, but that only adds to the appeal of backing to Ukraine to score two more goals during this dust-up.
It's also worth noting that five of North Macedonia's last six matches have generated three or more goals and given that both sides need to win the game an entertaining encounter could be in store.
With that in mind, coupled with Ukraine's superior firepower, I'm more than happy to back Shevchenko's men to bag at least a brace in Bucharest on Thursday afternoon.
