SlipsTips is back to share three angles of attack ahead of Saturday's fixtures, highlighting his three favourite selections from across Scotland and England.

Stirling Albion vs Bonnyrigg Rose (Saturday, 15:00)

Stirling Albion will go in search of a sixth successive win in Scottish League Two when they face Bonnyrigg Rose at Forthbank on Saturday afternoon.

The Binos' blistering form has taken them to the summit of the fourth tier, with a pair of recent 6-0 and 3-1 wins over Dumbarton and Stenhosuemuir respectively sending a clear statement of intent to the rest of the division.

In stark contrast, Bonnyrigg Rose's recent form would suggest their early season bubble has burst, with Robbie Horn’s side losing six of their last seven league games before last week’s 3-2 Scottish Cup humbling at lowly Sauchie Juniors.

As such, Stirling Albion enter this contest as general 4/7 shots but we can get some 17/20 (Bet 365) by backing the league leaders to overcome a -0.75 start on the Asian Handicap and that looks like an enticing boost in price.

This selection would provide a full pay-out if Albion prevail by two goals or more, with a half-stakes winner banked if the Binos bag a victory by a one-goal margin.

Given that this bet would have yielded profit from each of Stirling Albion’s last five Scottish League Two tussles, as well six of Rose’s last seven league outings, backing Darren Young’s hosts to overcome a -0.75 hurdle on the Asian Handicap at 17/20 (Bet 365) holds plenty of appeal.

Recommended Bet

  • Stirling Albion -0.75 (Asian Handicap) – 17/20 (Bet 365)

Wrexham vs Altrincham (Saturday, 15:00)

Wrexham will look to ensure they remain hot on the heels of Notts County in the National League when they meet Altrincham at the Racecourse Ground on Saturday afternoon.

Phil Parkinson’s posse are in hot pursuit of the pacesetting Magpies, while the Robins are residing in 15th spot, perched just five points above the relegation zone.

The Dragons justified my faith in them with – 1.5 start on the Asian Handicap on Tuesday night and I’m more than happy to revisit the same selection in Wales this weekend at 19/20 (Bet 365).

This wager sees us paid out should Wrexham triumph by two goals or more and that holds plenty of appeal given the considerable gulf in quality between the two teams.

Wrexham have a flawless home record in the National League this season with seven wins from seven, slamming in a whopping 30 strikes in the process, while Altrincham have managed just one win across eight road games to date, not to mention their overall defensive record is currently the third-worst in the fifth tier.

When you consider that Wrexham have covered this handicap in each of their last six outings at the Racecourse, backing the free-scoring Dragons with a –1.5 start on Saturday stands out at 19/20 (Bet 365).

Recommended Bet

  • Wrexham -1.5 (Asian Handicap) – 19/20 (Bet 365)

Bournemouth vs Tottenham (Saturday, 15:00)

Both Bournemouth and Tottenham Hotspur will be bidding to return to winning ways in the Premier League when the pair square off at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Cherries have come up short in recent contests with Southampton and West Ham, while Spurs’ early season momentum has come to a shuddering halt courtesy of back-to-back losses against Manchester United and Newcastle respectively.

Tottenham are too short to trust at widely -available 4/6 quotes but I’m more than happy to highlight an alternative offering by backing Harry Kane to get on the scoresheet at 6/5 with Bet 365.

The Tottenham talisman has started the season in terrific form having totted up 10 strikes across the opening 12 rounds of Premier League fixtures, notching in seven of his last eight top-flight appearances.

That doesn’t bode well for a Bournemouth backline that has failed to bag a clean sheet in nine of their 12 league games this season so far, including six of their last seven.

With all of this in mind, and given that the same bet is as short as 5/6 elsewhere, backing in-form Harry Kane to hit the back of the net here at 6/5 (Bet 365) is a price that definitely represents value.

Recommended Bet

  • Harry Kane to Score Anytime – 6/5 (Bet 365)
