Oliver Glasner got his Palace tenure off to the perfect start with a 3-0 win over Burnley a fortnight ago, before watching his new side suffer a late collapse when losing 3-1 at Tottenham last Saturday.

As for relegation-threatened Luton, they were dealt another blow in their fight for survival when suffering a dramatic 3-2 defeat against Aston Villa last weekend.

Crystal Palace are general 8/11 favourites to ease their own relegation fears by earning a win on Saturday, however I’m happy to highlight an alternative angle of attack at a slightly bigger price.

We can back the home team to score Over 1.5 Goals at 4/5 William Hill and that holds plenty of appeal in a game that promises plenty of goalmouth action.

Granted, you wouldn't necessarily associate Crystal Palace with scoring goals, but it is already clear to see that their new manager is trying to implement a switch to a more aggressive and front-foot style of play.

What’s more, the Eagles were somewhat surprisingly scoring with regularity under previous boss Roy Hodgson, having netted in 16 of their last 18 top-flight fixtures, which doesn’t bode well for Luton’s leaky defence.

Rob Edwards’ rearguard have filed just two clean sheets across their 26 Premier League matches this season so far, shipping multiple goals in a sizeable 16 games across that stretch.

It’s also worth pointing out that the Hatters have conceded a combined total of 22 goals across their last six matches in all competitions, with their brittle backline being breached three times or more on all but one of those occasions.

With all that in mind, coupled with the fact that Luton have only failed to score in four of their 26 league games this term, backing Crystal Palace to strike twice stands out at 4/5 on William Hill.
