SlipsTips takes a look at the Bet Builder market ahead of Tuesday's Europa League tie between Celtic and Ferencvaros.

Celtic vs Ferencvaros (Tuesday, 15:30)

The bottom two teams in Europa League Group G lock on horns on Tuesday afternoon, as Celtic face Ferencvaros at Parkhead.

Ange Postecoglou's side threw away a two-goal lead to lose 4-3 to Real Betis in their section opener before suffering a bruising 4-0 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen, on a night where my Celtic Park selection landed.

Ferencvaros also failed to bag any points from their opening two bouts with Betis and Leverkusen, meaning both teams are entering must-win territory on Tuesday afternoon.

Celtic will aim to continue their min-revival after a 2-0 win at Motherwell on Saturday but I'm going to swerve the match result market and instead combine over one match goal, over seven match corners and over two match cards, a 5/6 Bet Builder with Bet 365.

Goals have been a regular feature in games involving Celtic this season, with 17 of their 19 matches across all competitions producing two or more strikes.

Celtic attacking with ravenous intent has quickly become customary under new boss Ange Postecoglou's stewardship but question marks continue to surround the Bhoys brittle backline, who have shipped eight goals across their opening two Group G games.

What's more, visitors' Ferencvaros tend to be involved in attacking affairs. with each of the Hungarians first two pool fixtures crossing the over 2.5 goal barrier.

With all that in mind, I'll happily side with over one match goal in Glasgow, but to boost the odds, I'll also throw over seven match corners into the equation.

Postecoglou’s gung-ho brand of football has seen Celtic average a whopping 8.56 corners per-game in the Scottish Premiership this season, while Ferencvaros are hitting a league-high 7.38 flag kicks per 90 minutes in the Hungarian top-flight.

With both teams desperately chasing what would be a vital three points, I'll round off the Bet Builder with over two match bookings.

Danish whistler Jakob Kehlet has flashed three or more cards in seven of his overall 10 outings this term and I see no reason to oppose that trend here given that both teams need a win to put themselves back in contention in Group H.

It's also worth noting that the aforementioned Bet Builder would have paid out in three of the pair's collective four pool fixtures so far and that only adds to the appeal of siding with the same combination at Celtic Park on Tuesday afternoon.

Recommended Bet

  • Over 1 Match Goal
  • Over 7 Match Corners
  • Over 2 Match Cards
  • Bet Builder – 5/6 (Bet 365)
