IT'S another difficult weeekend for tipping in the Irn-Bru Scottish Football Leagues – but once again our lower-league man Joe Wallace has been on the case in the hunt for a winning treble.

We kick off in the Second Division and Arbroath's home clash with Airdrie United. The Gayfield men have been going strong in recent weeks and are in pole position, six points ahead of this weekend's visitors.

They have rattled in 11 goals in their last three matches and also ran out 6-2 winners over Albion Rovers a month ago. Airdrie were also in fine goalscoring form last weekend as they romped to a 4-0 home win over Rovers But with home advantage I reckon Arbroath will be too strong and am taking them as the first team in my SFL treble at 11-10 with Paddy Power.

We move on to the Third Division and focus on Stranraer's trip to Ochilview to face East Stirling. After a dismal start to their campaign Keith Knox's Blues have found their form and have rattled in a whopping 10 goals in their last two matches.

They thrashed Montrose 6-0 and followed that up with an excellent 4-2 win at home to Annan. Shire have lost three of their last four matches and I am taking Stranraer to increase their misery by taking all three points at 8-11, widely available.

We finish up with an improving Elgin side's home clash with Clyde. Elgin have won their last three matches which has seen them climb to the top of the division. They go into this match five points ahead of a Clyde side who have lost their last four. I can't see past the Borough Briggs men and am taking them as the third team in my SFL treble at 13-10 with bet365 and sportingbet.
