THERE'S a good looking Championship clash tonight as Huddersfield travel to Blackpool.

Both sides are in decent form but Blackpool's perfect home record suggests they'll shade although I'd be happier with better odds than a best 8-11 at Ladbrokes and Paddy Power.

Huddersfield haven't lost since the opening day of the season and have shrugged off the loss of £8million man Jordan Rhodes by slamming in six goals in three games since the Scots goal machine left.

Blackpool's away form has been poor but home they've beaten Middlesbrough 4-1 and Ipswich 6-0 in their last two at Bloomfield Road so Huddersfield will have to defend well.

Huddersfield are 17-4 at BetVictor with the draw paying 3-1 with firms such as William Hill.

While I'm taking Blackpool to edge it the best bet could both teams to score at a best 8-11 with BetVictor and Blue Square.

You can also have 8-11with Stan James for three or more goals while Ladbrokes go 15-2 for Ian Holloway’s to win by one.

Tom Ince has banged in six for Blackpool this season and is 13-2 at Paddy Power to break the deadlock. Lee Novak (10-1, bet365, BetVictor) and James Vaughan have led the Huddersfield line well since Rhodes left and I'd consider Novak to score at 10-3 with Blue Square.

There are two matches in Spain with Real Madrid playing at Rayo Vallecano 24 hours later than scheduled due to vandals cutting power cables.

Real are no bigger than 3-10 with Paddy Power, William Hill and BetVictor to win while Cristiano Ronaldo is just 5-2 with Hills and bodog to net the opener and 8-13 at unibet just to score.

For better value you can have Real -1 at 4-6 with bet365 but they have won all of their away games by a single goal. However, after a stuttering start to the season the Champions League victory against Man City should be the kickstart they need and they can win well against an outfit who trailed Atletico Madrid 4-0 last week before three goals put a false reflection on the scoreline.

The other game between Deportivo v Sevilla looks a draw no matter how you try to argue otherwise. Depor's last three have been score draws and all three of Sevilla's La Liga matches have ended in stalemates. The draw pays 12-5 at BetVictor and for the more adventurous you could try 1-1 at 6-1 (various).

Anyone looking for a treble could do worse than Real, Sporting Lisbon v Rio Ave and Russian big spenders Anzhi at Vladikavkaz. The treble pays a biggest £32.40 to a £10 stake at bet365.

John, one down four to go.

  6. eddy 12 years ago

hey mrfixit what do you think of a big bet on over 2.5 goals in blackpool game

    • Mr Fixit 12 years ago

Eddy, not sure about a big bet. I’ve tipped both to score and a Blackpool win so that would need more than 2.5 goals.

  7. Robbie 12 years ago

Just wondered what other leagues u bet on & weather its best to avoid certain leagues. Any advice? Cheers

    • Mr Fixit 12 years ago

Robbie, most of the top European leagues I’ll look at depending what’s on. No games are off limit but you have to do your homework. Punters should try to specialise on or two leagues to give themselves a better chance.

Steve, well done. I like Novak as a player but he has had to live in the shadow of Rhodes but done well since he left.

Paul, I know its early whats your opinion on Motherwell to win on Wednesday, 21/10 is backable surely?

    • Mr Fixit 12 years ago

Martin, I’ll be tipping Motherwell to win and for anyone who also fancies them the advice would be to do it early because I’m sure the price will fall.

    YEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAA

    • Mr Fixit 12 years ago

Tony, I’m assuming you meant Sporting.

Sporting Lisbon leaving it late!cheers for the tips Paul, decent profit over Sunday and today!keep them coming!

    • Mr Fixit 12 years ago

William, they had me worried but thankfully got the win in the end. I’ve spent a lot of time tonight looking at Tuesday’s games and hunting down the team news and it’s one of my favourite cards with so many playing weakened line-ups in the League Cups.

  15. John 12 years ago

Just needed Deportivo to score but i guess 3 winning bets out of the last 4 can’t be bad…might start looking at first goalscorers as that sounds interesting so any advice would be helpful

    • Mr Fixit 12 years ago

John, myself and few of other lads on here put up first scorers, sometimes they win and sometimes they lose just like everything else.

  16. Tony 12 years ago

    Oops yes I did m8
A long w8 for that goal

  17. Mr Chris Guy 12 years ago

Betfred have made a mistake with their online coupon. Wanyama first goal @ 25/1, Tony Watt @ 14/1. Should be 9/1 and 7/2. Best price for Wanyama elsewhere is victor Chandler at 20/1 which is still huge as next best is 10/1. Rogne 9/1 with Betfred. Don’t know if they will honour the betting but worth a chance online. Worst that can happy is your money back!!

    • Mr Fixit 12 years ago

Chris, I noticed Watt at 14s and wondered if they’d take that or cut the price. If they take it they’ll have to honour it.

    • Genie100 12 years ago

Chris, be careful. Looks like oddschecker has mixed up Tony Watt with Kevin Watt of Raith Rovers, hence the long odds. Look carefully at the betslip.

    • Mr Fixit 12 years ago

Genie100, just stick Watt on your slip and you’ll have two chances to win.

Are you putting up recommendations for tonites games paul?

    • Mr Fixit 12 years ago

Alex, as always. Btts just posted, top tips to follow soon.
