LAST week I posted some SPFL stats from William Hill's Owen Scott and they had a good response. Owen's being doing his homework again and I also have some McBookie.com specials for you to look at.
Let's start with Owen, who by the way tipped all six away wins in the Scottish Premiership in his weekly betting challenge that appears in the Daily Record on a Saturday. This weekend he fancies Inverness, Celtic, Hibs, Partick and draws at Ross County and Dundee Utd.
My tips for those matches are Inverness, Celtic, Hibs, Ross County and draws at Partick and Dundee Utd.
Anyway here are some interesting stats (William Hill first).
Aberdeen v Inverness
Billy McKay has scored three goals in the last two matches and also netted four in his last two games against the Dons which Inverness won. McKay to score and Inverness to win (7-2, Hills).
Celtic v St Johnstone
Charlie Mulgrew has scored in Celtic's last two wins against the Perth side. Mulgrew to score and Celtic to win (6-1, Hills).
Hibs v St Mirren
The last three times Hibs have won this fixture both teams scored in the match. Hibs to win and both teams to score (7-2, Hills).
Partick Th v Kilmarnock
Kris Boyd was at Kilmarnock the last time these sides met on league duty (2003/04) and scored in all three
games he started v Partick that season. Boyd to score anytime (6-4, Hills).
Ross County v Hearts
Fourteen goals were scored in the three fixtures between these sides last season. Over 3.5 goals (11-4, Hills).
Dundee Utd v Motherwell (Sunday)
The home side hasn't won a match between these two in the last eight fixtures. Last season Motherwell had three wins and a draw at Tannadice. Motherwell draw no bet (4-5, Hills).
Forfar v Rangers
Central defender Bilel Mohsni has scored in the last two matches – his first two for the club. Mohsni to score anytime (5-1, Hills).
McBookie.com are offering 4-1 Hearts complete a nap hand of penalties conceded this weekend when they play Ross County. Amazingly Gary Locke’s men have conceded a penalty in each of their last four games – although some of them have been controversial. Indeed, Jamie Hamill is going for a hat-trick himself and it is 20-1 he gives one away.
Lee McCulloch is 10-1 to break UK post-war record of six league hat-tricks in a season (held by Gretna's Kenny Deuchar). The Rangers star has hit two in the last two weekends.
McBookie.com McCulloch Specials v Forfar
Score anytime (1-2)
Score two or more (12-5)
Score Hat-trick (12-1)
Score perfect hat-trick (left, right and header) 40-1

I love that stat about the away side always winning Dundee Utd and Motherwell, it’s one of these things that make the SPL a crazy league to bet on; there is almost no such thing as home advantage. That said, The Dundee United youngsters were really impressive last week at Ross County and in my opinion they could have do big things in the coming seasons….if they can stop the English clubs from poaching them.
Cammy, 6 out of 6 away wins in the Scottish Premiership last weekend. I can’t see a repeat but a few times seems to play better on the road – but not of course Hearts who are supported really well at home just now. Right, I’m hitting the road.
Yes, over 3.5 goals in the County Hearts game is a good shout, considering County conceded 4 at home last week and have leaked quite a lot this season, and with Hearts who have to fight hard to pick up points with a young squad.
Fab. O. Scott stats/tips. Thanks.
Mulgrew and Boyd stats came in plus money back from Motherwell one so a profit this week from all 7
Owen, yep there were some good ones in there, look forward to seeing this week’s selection.
