I'M kicking off the treble with two teams who played last time out but failed to win.

First up it's Swindon who looked superb in their 3-2 defeat at Wolves last week. Mark Cooper's side thumped Crewe 5-0 in their last home outing and will be looking to put Bristol City to the sword on Saturday.

Swindon are benefiting from a tie-up with Spurs and on-loan midfielder Ryan Mason has netted four in his last three games. New signing Nile Ranger, ex-Newcastle, impressed at Molineux and a repeat of that display will make Swindon look big at 1-1 with the likes of Paddy Power and Ladbrokes.

Another side who should have won last week were Hamilton. I chose them as my Super Single at Dundee but they were held 0-0 thanks to a brilliant display by home keeper Kyle Letheren.

So Accies lost their 100 per cent record but remain five points clear at the top of the Championship and should beat Cowdenbeath at home.

Accies have won both their matches at New Douglas while Beath have been beaten in their two outings on the road – conceding five goals. Take the home at 4-7 with Coral.

Complete the treble with a Mansfield who are getting to grips to life in the Football League after winning the Conference. The ambitious Stags are unbeaten in six after starting with a loss and are steadily improving.

They tackle a Northampton side who have lost all three away games without scoring. The answer to their problems – sign ex-Hibs defender Mathias Doumbe!

Mansfield won at York last weekend and beat Dagenham 3-0 in their last home outing. It will be tougher against a Northampton side who should be higher up the table but I'm on Mansfield to edge it at 1-1 with Ladbrokes and others.

They have only lost one of their last home meetings at home to Northampton so let's hope that run goes on.

Remember to post your own treble as a comment at the end of this article. Win-draw-win bets only for the chance to win a £10 free bet with Betway.com.

I thought I’d give everyone a heads up on what looks like a great bet in the Bundesliga. Hannover are currently 7/5 to beat Augsburg tomorrow at home.

So far this season Hannover have played three, won three at home. This includes a 4-1 win over a decent Mainz side in their last home game, as well as a 2-1 win over Champions League representatives, Schalke.

Augsburg do have an away win to their credit so far this season but it came against a very poor Nurnberg side, who are yet to register a win this season (through five games).

The price may be due to the fact that Augsburg have won their last three. However this is misleading, as the first of these was Bruno Labbadia’s final game in charge of Stuttgart; the aforementioned win over Nunrberg; as well as a victory over second-bottom (and winless)Freiburg.

I definitely think this is great value as a single, or part of a treble.

    I’ve gone for:

    Hannover
    QPR
    Newcastle

A £10 stake on this treble returns £77.76 at SkyBet.

      good analysis, I will do a Trixie…thx

    • Louis Paddington 12 years ago

Thanks. No problem. I hoping to make up for a dreadful week where my three trebles went down because of the shortest priced team. Juve on Tuesday, Chelsea on Wednesday and Liege last night. That Liege one was devastating. They were 4/9 I think but the other two teams I had were Swansea at 4/1 and Kazan at evens. Won’t be forgiving Liege in a hurry.

    • coops 12 years ago

Louis, I also like Herenveen in Holland this week, they are 6/4 which I think is over priced (if they win of course!)

  29. coops 12 years ago

    QPR, 4/5, Wycombe 23/10, and Herenveen 6/4.

Treble pays you enough to go the pub. ha…

btw Paul, I know you are annoyed at my treble coming through with Hamilton drawing with Dundee, but I think this week, Hamilton won’t win, and instead I go for Inverness to draw with the Aberdeen at 5/2 as a Super single.

    (If it wins lol)

    • Mr Fixit 12 years ago

coops, Hamilton by all accounts played well at Dundee and were only stopped by great goalkeeping. I’m on them to win tomorrow and Curier to score first.

    • coops 12 years ago

reckon a few draws tomorrow to scupper our fancies…

Think Aberdeen are a cert to hold Cale Thistle to a draw.

      5/2 ;)

QPR and maybe Wolves are worth a hefty punt.

Good luck tomorrow Paul, keep up the good work.

I have to tell you that Wycombe has to start my treble with the dreadful form that York is in.

Hibs should make easy work of St Mirren beating them 4 out of the 6 games they have played at home to them and drawing the other two.

United of Manchester in the lower leagues look a great deal too at 1.62.

Look out for Morecambe and Scunthorpe as well.

Bayern, in Germany Midjityland in Denmark as well as Young Boys in Basel. Definite winners!

My previous post is my main tip though. Morecambe have won for me at 3-1 away 2 weeks in a row and look a stick on at home to Dagenham.
