I'M moving away from both teams to score bets on Sunday and trying an over/under 2.5 goals treble.
There isn't much difference between a btts and over 2.5 goals pick but of course 1-1 for example doesn't bring up the later.
I'm starting with over 2.5 goals at the Bundesliga clash between Hoffenheim and Moenchengladbach. Hoffenheim were hammered 6-2 by Stuttgart last time out and their last six matches going back to the promotion/relegation play-offs at the end of the previous campaign have produced 31 goals with five out of six going over 3.5.
Borussia's last six have also totalled 31 goals and four out of six have gone over 3.5 goals.
So with both averaging more than five goals in their last six you have to at least fancy over 2.5.
Next up I'm focusing on another two sides whose recent matches have been full of goals – Coventry v Gillingham.
Steven Presley's men have got over the disappointment of moving to Northampton and decided to become the great entertainers.
Their last six have produced 30 goals including a 5-4 win and 4-4 draw at Sixfields. Gillingham have not been too shy either and their previous six have seen 18 goals scored with four out of six going over 2.5
A win will see Coventry wipe out their 10-point deduction and they could get it but the key stat is about goals and Gillingham's three away matches have produced 13 goals including a 3-2 defeat at Crawley last weekend.
Finally, I'm looking at a game that doesn't look likely to produce many goals and that's Southampton v West Ham Utd.
All of their league games this season have gone under 2.5 goals and in fact that's the case in five of Saints' last six and four of the Hammers' last five.
St Mary's boss Mauricio Pochettino doesn't send his side out to storm all over opponents, they are more likely to pick their way through a defence in the way an expert jewel thief picks a lock.
Hammers, however, won't be too keen to hand over the spoils and Sam Allardyce's side will defend for their lives. Their best result this season was a 0-0 draw at Newcastle – and that speaks for itself.

13:30 Heerenveen v Gronigen
– Heerenveen’s 5 fixtures have produced a whopping 22 goals! (4.4 goals per game)
– In Heerenveen’s 3 home games this season, each match has produced 6 goals
– Gronigen’s five fixtures have seen an impressive 20 goals (4.0 goals per match)
– In Gronigen’s 3 away games this season, there have been at least 5 goals!
– The last five meetings between these teams have seen over 2.5 goals
Over 2.5 goals @ 1.50
14:30 Hoffenheim v Borussia Moenchengladbach
Mr Fixit has pretty much covered this one, but I’ll highlight a few key stats
– All four of Hoffenheim’s Bundesliga games have gone over the 2.5 goals line, producing an astonishing 24 goals (6.0 goals per match)
– Hoffenheim’s last 12 Bundesliga games have featured 3 goals or more. Hoffenheim’s last unders game was way back in March.
– Likewise, all four of B. Moenchengladbach’s Bundesliga games have gone over the 2.5 goals line, with a total of 18 goals (4.5 goals per game)

17:00 Sandnes v Sarpsborg
– 68 goals have been scored in Sandnes’ 22 league games (3.09 goals per game)
– 10 out of Sandnes’ last 11 league games have gone over 2.5 goals
– 75 goals have been scored in Sarpsborg’s 22 league games (3.41 goals per game)
– Sarbsborg have seen over 2.5 goals scored in 5 of their last 6 matches
– Sarbsborg’s last 7 away matches have gone over 2.5 goals
– The last 5 meetings have ended over 2.5 goals

18:00 KR Reykjavik v Fylkir
– 59 goals have been scored in KR’s 17 league games (3.47 goals per game)

– 54 goals have been scored in Fylkir’s 19 league games (2.84 goals per game)
– The last 10 meetings have finished over 2.5 goals!

Chief 5, it would be nice to get up. It’s a good time for anyone waiting on unders to complete the treble to hedge on over 2.5 goals in the second half if they feel that way inclined. I’m letting mine run though coz I’m going out and won’t really be watching.
