GARETH BALE is 5-4 to perform his heart celebration on his debut for Real Madrid according to Labrokes.
But an even better bet could be the world-record signing making his first appearance as a sub.
Bale is expected to feature at Villarreal on Saturday night (9pm KO)but his boss Carlo Ancelotti insists he's not match fit and the only problem could be he plays the Welsh ace as a stand-in left-back because of injury problems.
As Bale limbers up for his first run-out Ladbrokes have priced up a number of specials in anticipation of a surge of interest in the clash with both pre-match and in-play turnover forecast to break records for a La Liga fixture.
Bale is odds-on (8-11) to make his debut from the bench while it's an unlikely 25-1 he starts as a striker.
Should be come on from the bench as anticipated it's Angel di Maria he's fancied to replace at 3-1. Bale is 12-1 to come on for Ronaldo and 33-1 to wash “The Boss's” back in the showers (only joking).
Bale's starting positions: Subs Bench 8-11, Right Forward 9-4, Left Forward 6-1, Left-Back 8-1, Central Midfield 25-1, Striker 25-1.
If Bale comes on who will he be substituted on for? Angel di Maria 2-1, Isco 3-1, Karim Benzema 4-1, Sami Khedira 5-1, Luka Modric 6-1, Cristiano Ronaldo 12-1.
Bale is 16-1 to be booked for diving and 500-1 to do a Woodgate (score an own goal and be sent off on his debut).
He is 1-1 to score at anytime but he's probably only get 20 minutes or so.
Real are 13-20 at Titanbet to win the game and I can see them doing it in style with players, including Ronaldo, wanting to impress with Bale sitting in the wings.
There's been a big debate about who'll take the free-kicks and I saw some interesting stats from Oddschecker. Last season Ronaldo scored four from 49 (8%) and Bale two from 27 (7%).
So they're both rubbish then. Makes you wonder why Real didn't take the cheaper option and go for Wigan's Shaun Maloney! He netted one out of one (100%) for Scotland in Macedonia on Tuesday.
