RAITH ROVERS can win the Fife derby on Saturday and take the bragging rights against Dunfermline.

There's always a decent crowd and a big rivalry between these two teams with little love lost between them.

And Raith look decent value at 17/20 to keep on the tails of  Championship leaders Dundee United who play on Friday night against Arbroath.

The Kirkcaldy side have only lost once in the league this season in what was a surprise defeat at Airdrie.

They have a very good record at Stark's Park and held United to a 1-1 draw there in their last league game. And they've already played Dunfermline this season twice in the Viaplay Cup and in the

league and won at East End Park back in August.

The Pars started their season well, but the wheels have come off somewhat recently. They were soundly beaten 3-0 by Partick Thistle at Firhill and then failed to score again in a 1-0 home defeat to Ayr.

And Ian Murray's men can get the three points here.

AYR UNITED have turned a corner recently and can get the better of Morton at their Somerset Park home.

The Honest Men went  through a sticky patch earlier this season where they lost five games in a row in all competitions.

But since then, they have won at Queen's Park, Airdrie and Dunfermline and Morton have failed to win a league game since the opening day of the season where they beat Ayr.

And Lee Bullen's men can gain revenge for that loss at 20/21.

Backing a team who haven't won a single game this season may seem like a quick way to the poor house but there could be method in the madness of siding with EDINBURGH CITY on Saturday.

They have a new management team and Michael McIndoe takes charge at Meadowbank for the first time when they welcome Annan Athletic to the capital.

You can't get a worst start than losing your first 11 games in a row in all competitions, but there are signs they have improved.

They have drawn with Cove Rangers, Alloa and most impressively of all, joint leaders Hamilton Accies last week.

They face an Annan team who have lost their last three games and have collected just one point away from home all season.

And at 11/5, City are worth a dabble.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
RAITH ROVERS 17/20
AYR UNITED 20/21
EDINBURGH CITY 11/5.
