THE only online bookmaker listing first-scorer prices on all SPFL games are McBookie .com.

It’s a great service they provide and we’ve teamed up with the Scots firm to look at some of the best bets from the Scottish Premiership.

Here is McBookie.com’s Damian Walker with his latest selections.

He says: “St Mirren’s Jon Obika provided a nice 4-1  winner last Saturday with his opening goal so hopefully there is more to come this weekend.

“Motherwell finally came good in terms of performance last weekend, although probably didn’t get the points their efforts deserved.

“They travelled to Easter Road and faced a Hibs side who had taken maximum points from their opening three Premiership games. Well dominated possession and probably should have won the game but came away with a 0-0 draw.

“Motherwell face a much simpler task this weekend at home to bottom side Hamilton who have lost all three of their games and just scored a solitary goal.

“The Accies are already odds on to be automatically relegated and it is hard to see them getting much out of a trip to Fir Park against a team approaching their peak.

“Motherwell’s David Turnbull missed out much of last season with a knee injury but by all accounts his performances are improving with each game and was instrumental in the side’s fine effort away at Hibs.

“A big-money move could be on the cards once again and boss Stephen Robinson will do well to keep hold of him.

“In the meantime he can get on the scoresheet for the second time in three games with the opening goal at 9-2 with McBookie.

“One of the hardest games to call at the weekend is St Mirren at home to Ross County but I fancy the home side at the odds of 7-5.

“The Buddies' home form kept them up last season as on the road they were the worst team in the league taking just eight points from 15 games with a massive -17 goal difference.

“They lost just four of their 15 home games which kept them out of the bottom three on goal difference.

“This season to date they have beaten Livingston at home and Hamilton away, and lost 3-0 away to Rangers, so to all intents and purposes they have done as well as might have been expected of them when the fixtures were produced.

“Last weekend I tipped Jon Obika to grab the opener and I see no reason to desert him at 4-1 with McBookie.

“Finally, Celtic’s new £5million signing Albian Ajetic came on as a sub in the Europa League in midweek and might get a start at Tannadice at the weekend as Neil Lennon looks to rest players.

“Ajeti had a great scoring record in Switzerland for Basel before a disappointing spell at West Ham.

“He can bounce back at Celtic and is 4-1 with McBookie to score the first goal.”

Rest players? Is this a joke? If Ajeti starts I’m giving up the gambling.

Celtic paid big money for Ajeti so he’s going to have to start at some time and become a regular.
