AFTER a terrific Boxing Day we have another busy card to look forward to with matches from the EPL, National League, National Leagues North and Sout, and a full card of lower-league games from Scotland.

It's a really attractive card and I've picked out no fewer than 4 bets as well as two big-priced goal specials from the National League.

I've picked out three games from Scotland and two from England which include the top-of-the-table clash between Airdrie and Falkirk as well as Tottenham's trip to Norwich, all of which you can listen to on this weekends Gambla Bettting Podcast.

Airdrie vs Falkirk (3pm)

You can cover the top 4 sides in Scottish League One with a sheet if paper they are that closely packed as Raith, East Fife, Airdrie and Falkirk all battle it out for top spot.

Third and fourth meet here and based on form Falkirk come into this as favourites but it's goals I'm keen on especially given the number of goals Airdrie have seen at home.

Their last 5 have all gone over 2.5 goals (19 goals scored) and they have kept just 2 clean sheets in 11 home matches this season in all competitions.

Up front though they have one of the most prolific partnerships in Scottish football in Dale Carrick and Callum Gallagher who have 23 goals between them.

Falkirk have been far from convincing this season but given Airdrie's defensive woes are more than capable of grabbing a couple of goals  – good chance we'll see both sides net and that should lead us to three goals.

Recommended Bet:

  • Over 2.5 goals
  • 1/1 (Betfred) (NAP)

Dumbarton vs Stranraer

The Sons are flying at the moment with 4 wins from 5 (11 goals scored) and they host a Stranraer side who look down and out and have lost 4 on the spin, conceding 12 in the process.

Cove Rangers vs Elgin City

Cove are back to the top of the League and with 7  of their 8 home games going over 2.5 goals, we should see another three goals against a Elgin side who score and conceded plenty.

Recommended Bet

  • Over 2.5 goals double
  • 5/4 (Unibet)

Norwich vs Tottenham (5.30pm)

Certainly no shortage of goals for the Carrow Road faithful to see this season with 36 scored, sadly, most of those goals have been against them.

Eight of their 9 home games went over 2.5 goals with 8 of those 9 seeing the visitors scoring at least twice which is an horrendous record.

The goals have dried up for Teemu Pukki but it's not for the lack of trying or lack of chances, they just can't seem to convert their opportunities and it's killing them, especially in their last two defeats to Villa and Wolves.

City, United, Chelsea and Arsenal all came here and saw at least 4 goals and I think we'll see another match with plenty of goals as Tottenham roll into town.

The visitors have kept just two clean sheets this season and I wouldn't be surprised to see Norwich grab a goal but as we all know they have more than enough quality going forward to score at least twice.

Recommended Bet

  • Over 3.0 Asian goals
  • 21/20 (Bet365)

English National League Total Goals  – 12 matches

As you know I'm a huge fan of the National League this season for goals and it delivered another big-priced winner for us on Boxing day as all 10 games went over 1.5 goals at 16/1.

There are some great looking games on Saturday involving Ebbsfleet, Yeovil, Torquay, Chesterfield and Hartlepool to name a few. Should see plenty of goals.

Remember to back the first-half goals and over 1.5 goals bets individually and not as a special (all explained on the podcast).

Recommended Bet

  • 33+ goals to be scored
  • 4/5 (Skybet)
  • All 12 games over 0.5 first half goals
  • 50/1 (Skybet)
  • All 12 games over 1.5 match goals
  • 16/1 (Skybet)

Big difference in bookies prices there, 365 are 36-1 instead of 50-1, pays to shop around. Good luck today 👍

Skybet down to 12/1 and 40/1 now

Greg i placed the bets on boxing day but apparently the 16/1 was voided by skybet because the Eastleigh v Aldershot game was postponed.

The game was called off early so I manually backed the remaining games ( as it was done manually even though there was another game called off only that game was voided)

For some reason the 10 that did go ahead still paid 16/1 manually which goes to show the special isn’t always best price

Over 0.5 fhg acca is just over 63-1 with Hills if you use your acca boost.Hills are always the best price when you use the boost.

Does the early ko count in conference? 3-2 finished for the 33+ goals

Took on Over 1.5 MG in your Airdrie game at 4/6, only took 15 mins. Thanks for flagging up the game sir 👍

Yeah the early kick off counts and thank god it does after a poor first half in the 3pm games haha
