OLD FIRM fans won't need to wait until next season for the next Glasgow derby – there will be one next month.

Celtic beat Morton 3-0 with the help of a Leigh Griffiths (above) goal and will now face Rangers in the semi-finals of the William Hill Scottish Cup.

Scots firm McBookie predict a £10m betting bonanza and have pushed Rangers out from from 3-1 to 5-1 on the outrights. Celtic are 4-7 trophy favourites but it looks short on the evidence of the last couple of weeks.

Sponsors William Hill make Celtic slightly bigger at 8-11 with Rangers 9-2.

McBookie spokesman Paul Petrie said: “When the teams last met Celtic were the red-hot favourites. However, Rangers are in a far better position and therefore the game is a more interesting betting proposition. We expect punters to bet millions on the game.”

Dundee Utd are 6-1 third favourites having started the weekend at 25-1. Holders Inverness are 8-1 with Hibs 10-1.
