It was a good start to the weekend for punters with Liverpool cruising to victory, Salah scoring, Dundee United winning,  their star man Lawrence getting another goal and it was my 6th consecutive winning NAP as my 11/10 French goals double landed.

Full card to tomorrow and it's the Scottish games where I'll be looking at for goals – Dundee welcome high scoring Ayr United to Dens Park and it's a match I can see both sides contributing to the goal count.

Dundee vs Ayr United  (KO 3pm)

Dee's fans where handed a huge boost this week as ex hitman and fans favourite Kane Hemmings returning to the club on a three year deal to bolster their attacking options and it looks like  a great bit of business.

He scored a barrel load of goals for them in the Premiership and can do so again in Scotland's second tier. They have some good attacking options now and already this match poses early season importance as they could fall 5 points behind league leaders Dundee United if they fail to win.

They were fortunate last week to steal a draw at Dunfermline after being 2-0 down, with ex Motherwell striker Danny Johnson scoring two penalties – he's another good addition and they certainly should be a real threat going forward.

Still not convinced by them defensively, especially with Jack Hamilton in the sticks – the ex Hearts keeper is prone to too many mistakes and they could be punished against an Ayr side who have been free scoring so far this season

Two experienced strikers in Michael Moffat and Chris Dooalan lead the line for the Somerset Park side and like last season, boss Ian McCall will have his side competing with the best of them

They kicked off the season in fine style as they hammered Morton 4-2 and will cause Dundee problems. I Don't think they'll win but they are more than capable of scoring

A good chance we'll see both sides find the net and with Kane Hemmings returning it will give everyone at Dens a massive lift.
