THE Scottish Cup quarter-finals take centre stage this weekend but up north all eyes will be on high-fliers Ross County and Inverness.
There's been a Highland uprising with pair of upstarts sitting third and fourth in the table with both fighting to finish runners-up behind Celtic. That's quite amazing for a promoted and another that's never been in the top six.
County haven't been beaten in the SPL this year so will start as favourites but the three meetings between the sides have produced good games with both scoring in each.
It was 3-3 when they met in Dingwall last December and 3-3 in the previous meeting at Victoria Park so hopefully both will score this time.
Another game that has produced goals this season with nine in the two meetings – 4-1 Stranraer and 4-0 Forfar.
Forfar won 4-2 at home to Albion Rovers in midweek and six of their last seven have seen both score. Stranraer have netted in all of their recent games bar at home to runaway leaders Queen of the South but have kept just one clean sheet so both look capable of netting at Station Park.
Annan v Berwick showdowns always seem to be full of thrills and spills and it should be the same again. Both have scored in each side's last six and nine out of 10 meetings at Annan have seen both keepers pick the ball out of the net.
There have been three 3-2s in recent meetings and nine goals in two league clashes this season.
Next I'm looking at Elgin v Stirling. Lowly Albion are unbeaten in six and even managed a scoring draw at home to Rangers in midweek.
The last three meetings have produced 13 goals and Elgin's last six matches have totalled 25 so this should be made with both to net.
Finally, complete the line with the William Hill Scottish Cup clash between Hamilton and Falkirk. Both teams have scored in the three First Division meetings of the sides this season and in the last five overall.
Falkirk have been in good form recently scoring 14 in their last six games while Accies have netted in five of their last six.
It's worth flagging up BetVictor's Money Back Special this weekend. If you place £10 on a 5-match Both Teams to Score Acca and it loses they'll give you a tenner for the same bet next week. Worth a look; BetVictor.
