A massive let down on this match. Medjedovic has played so well all week and yet today just didn’t show up. To rub salt in the wounds he also ended up on 4 double faults. If this was at all competitive then the Aces and Doubles would have sailed in. Not sure many people would have predicted a 6-3 6-1 type of scoreline between these two before the match started. Another strange result this week.

Another missed penalty in USA v Vietnam women’s game from earlier this morning – that’s one penalty in every match so far.
Was about to write same thing. Anyone have any insight into why so many pens? Players diving in like Sunday league teams maybe? Poor refs? Never watched a women’s game in my life so I’m clueless. Just trying to find a reason why to have a little fun stakes double or treble like others are doing
The one in the Switzerland game yesterday was never a penalty and VAR intervened. There does seem to be an element of panic and naivety with some of the defenders.
It’s like when Aus men’s football started/was in its infancy, so many pens, own goals and red cards. Defenders still learning their trade, VAR to ensure nothing gets missed and a gulf in class between teams which forces errors. I will continue backing pens and own goals in most games ???

Just stumble across match and seen the yellow was for the foul that led to the penalty award.
but her first yellow was given when she fouled earlier in the game when the penalty was rescinded because there was an offside in the build up

Got an email yesterday bet 10 quid on the England game get 10 free bet, ignored it of course as the line set were ridiculous.
Women’s football is an absolute joke.

Total England shots on target = 10, yet they win just 1:0 – and that was from a lucky penalty England initially MISSED, but retook because goalkeeper moved.

Same as some other games. Spain, USA, Australia etc. I’m wondering if they’re being told to keep the scores down, as it would be quite embarrassing on such a stage. You do see cricket type scores of 14-0 commonly between the same teams.
The standards been terrible. You expect mis-matches but the standard of finishing from the better sides has been abysmal. The refereeing standard has been poor as well.
After the delayed match from yesterday finished this morning I can now recap yesterday’s results. Thankfully it meant the loses were reduced down to -3.06 units and still means a profit on the week which currently sits at +7.02 units. The week after a slam are notoriously known to be difficult so any type of profit this week would be good.
