Anything less than a win for Arsenal at Nottingham Forest will all but hand the title to Manchester City before they get the chance to clinch it themselves tomorrow.
The Gunners' 3-0 home defeat to Brighton on Sunday was the final nail in the coffin of their title challenge and it's a matter of playing for pride for Mikel Arteta's men between now and the end of the season.
Forest fans might think it's a good time to play Arsenal but in a strange way all the pressure has been lifted and they can go and enjoy themselves in their last two fixtures. They'd probably be a lot shorter than 3/5 if the Premier League title was still on the line.
The Tricky Trees' need for points at the other end of the table is much more desperate. They're three points clear of the dreaded 18th place but they've a poorer goal difference than all the teams around around so could still be vulnerable.
Everton have a massive game as well today as they try to keep their noses in front Leeds United and Leicester City who occupy the remaining two relegation spots following Southampton's relegation. They make the trip to Wolverhampton where the hosts have won the last four at home without conceding.
The bookies have both teams at 17/10 which is a measure of how hard this one is to call but Everton's plight should give them the edge and it's the kind of game you could see them win under Sean Dyche. Leeds don't play until tomorrow and Leicester on Monday so it's a real chance for Everton to put some distance between themselves and the drop zone.
A sneaky little bet on Jordan Pickford picking up a booking at 9/2 could be worth an interest – the England ‘keeper has already been carded five times this season and he loves to ‘run the clock down' when he has to.
If Liverpool had found the kind of form they're hitting now at the start of the season they may well be challenging for honours, as it stands they're 5/2 shots to finish in the top four and secure a Champions League place. It's now seven straight wins for the Reds who welcome Aston Villa to Anfield.
Villa's race looks run and they've failed to win in their last three away matches (D1 L2) but Unai Emery is a canny operator and could set out to frustrate the rampant Reds.
The match could mark Roberto Firminho's final bow in front of the Anfield crowd. 109 goals in 360 appearances for the Merseysiders is a great return and the Brazilian is 8/5 to sign-off with a goal.
Mo Salah missed a glorious chance to hit 20 goals for a fifth time in six seasons on Monday but he's scored in each of his last five starts against Villa and is 11/10 to reach that landmark total today.
Double Salah up with Harry Kane at Spurs v Brentford. The England captain's 27 league goals have been overshadowed by Erling Haaland's scoring exploits but the 29-year-old is just three short of his best ever return in the Premier League (30).
In Scotland the lunchtime focus is on the battle for third place. Hearts host Aberdeen and only a win will do for the Jambos. They've fallen five points behind the Dons so not only do they need to close that gap but they've also got Hibs breathing down their necks, one point behind them, with an Edinburgh Derby on the horizon next weekend.
Hearts finishing out of the top four would be unthinkable considering how strong a position they were in just a few months ago. It's a game neither will want to lose so don't expect it to be too gung-ho in the opening stages. The first goal time has been set at 27:00 (5/6) and it's unlikley we'll see the net ripple before then.
At the bottom end of the table Dundee Utd can pick up three much needed points at Livingston. Livi have lost and failed to score in five of their last six (0-3, 0-3, 2-0, 0-2, 0-2) as they've limped towards the end of the season. United need to bounce back from two consecutive defeats and are 9/4 to do so today. It could be safer to back them with the benefit of the draw so take the 6/5 on Dundee United Draw No Bet.

This is just a re post from Tuesday. I’ve added a few stats and a few words just to help anyone interested.
——
Hi everyone, wasn’t going to next get on till Saturday but I just had to highlight the price from paddypower on Salford winning against Stockport on Saturday. Was expecting about 7/2 to be the general price but they have went 9/2 or there’s 6/5 on double chance for the ‘safer’ bets.
I’ll give a more detailed reasoning on Saturday but it all comes down to Salford having a lovely wide pitch to play on like Stockport have. Salford have been the best footballing side in the league this season and a nice pitch is such a help. They played away at Carlisle a few weeks ago who have a wide pitch and they tore them apart the first half, they sat back 2nd half and let them back in but in the end it was a well deserved win.
Here’s the number of goals Salford have scored away in their last 6 games
Crewe 3
Stevenage 3
Stockport 1
Wimbledon 3
Walsall 3
Carlisle 3
The game looks set up for goals with Salford having a 1-0 deserved lead from the 1st leg.
The bet I’m on is goals
Over 1.5 Salford goals 3/1 paddypower
Over 2.5 Salford goals 12/1 bets65
Salfords last 3 away games have finished 2-3. You can get 40/1 on this happening again.
Will get back on on Saturday if possible with a bit better explanation for the bet and a bit of team news.
All the best.

*Salford . . .
Have scored at least 2 goals in 13 of their 23 away games this season.
Have scored at least 3 goals in 9 of their 23 away games this season.
Have taken 40 points from their 23 away games this season scoring 44 goals way more than any other team.
Won 4 of their last 5 matches.
Won 4 of the last 5 away games drawing the other.
Callum Hendry scored 9 goals in last 15 games. Scored in all of last 6 away games ( 10/3 anytime goalscorer today)
*Stockport . . .
Unbeaten since November at home.
Won 2 of last last 6 games.
Won 2 of last 7 at home.
Drawn 7 of last 14 games.
As I’ve mentioned on Tuesday the reason for this bet is based on Salford showing their best form on good pitches and this is exactly what Stockport have. Luke Bolton and Louie Barry should have a field day down those wings with all the room they will have. There’s just no way I see Neil Wood setting up to defend their 1-0 lead from the first leg. He surely knows Salford can outscore any team in that league on the day so will go their to attack.
Stockport are unbeaten at home since November so I’m under no illusion believing this bet is going to be easy but at 3/1, and 12/1 and 40/1 the reward is well worth the risk. Their is no way Salford should be 9/2 for this game it is just crazy odds. If Salford can bring their A* game and Stockport are even just a little bit off form ( like they were in the first leg) then they have every chance of scoring at least a couple of goals. For the ‘safer’ punters look at the double chance odds at 6/5 or BTTS at 10/11.
This is how I’ve spread my stake
Salford over 1.5 team goals 3/1 80 % of stake
Salford over 2.5 team goals 12/1 19 % of stake
Salford to win 2-3 40/1 1% of stake
Have a great weekend everyone
a major surprise that there hasn’t been one shot on target so far!!

Just don’t see it with Dundee utd today. Steven fletcher injured, 2 guys in work season ticket holders reckon without him there holding the ball up, scoring the odd goal there’s no one to fill in for him. Livingston form better at home. 🤞
Corner in the 1st 10 min in the 4 EPL 3pm ko 9/2 bet365
Over 1 corner 1st 15 min same 4 games 19/1 Hills .
Always worth a punt imo
I’m on a no frills double this weekend..
Liverpool / Real both to win (boosted to almost 5/2 Ladbrokes)
Liverpool are running amok at the moment and scoring for fun, it’s their last game at Anfield this season, last home game for Bobby Firmino too who’s been top class for them, and Pool smell blood for top 4.. United’s game today is away and we’re a shambles on the road so I’m not too convinced we’ll win.. but Liverpool will
Real will be licking their wounds after being mauled by City, they’ve too much pride not to go for the jugular here.. Valencia have struggled all season and Real need to win to finish second ahead of Atleti..
BoL today folks
✖️ I didn’t see that coming 👀

Spurs were never a good bet for me today. Temporary manager who isnt ready for toptier football in the dugout. They have been so inconsistent all season and have never earned enough confidence to bet them hence i havent included them in a line once all season
Can’t imagine many if any would of been on spurs there shocking!!
I backed Spurs mainly because Brentford’s best player is banned. Mason is a good manager but he only takes charge when the team is in the sh*t. After having Conte as manager it’s going to take a massive rebuild to get where they want to be, I can see Kane going to Man Utd.
