Gimcheon Sangmu vs Incheon United – Both Teams to Score

Incheon United will look to strengthen their position in the top-six of the K League 1 table, as they travel to the Gimcheon Stadium to take on 10th-placed Gimcheon Sangmu.

Jo Sung-hwan’s visitors came from two-goals down to draw 2-2 away at reigning champions Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors last time out, whilst last years K League 2 champions Gimcheon Sangmu lost 3-2 at Gangwon in their last outing.

Kim Tae-wan’s hosts have found the back of the net in 14 of their last 16 league matches and will look to trouble an Incheon defence that’s conceded in seven of their last eight away fixtures.

The Mariners have found the back of the net in 8/10 of their matches on the road and I expect them also to get on the scoresheet against a Gimcheon Sangmu defence that’s recorded just one clean sheet in their last 11.

FC Seoul vs Daegu FC – Both Teams to Score

Two sides separated by just three points in the K League 1 table meet in the capital, as seventh-placed Daegu FC travel to the Seoul World Cup Stadium to take on ninth-placed FC Seoul.

FC Seoul’s winless run was extended to five matches last time out, as they conceded in stoppage-time to lose 4-3 at Suwon FC, whilst Daegu FC secured their fourth consecutive draw by scoring a late equaliser against league leaders Ulsan Hyundai.

Alexandre Gama’s visitors have scored in 13 of their last 14 league matches, including in each of their last seven away and will look to keep that run going against a Seoul defence that’s conceded in eight of their last nine in the league.

An Ik-soo’s hosts have scored in 8/10 of their home fixtures and I also expect the capital club to get on the scoresheet against a Daegu defence that’s recorded just one clean sheet in their 10 fixtures on their travels this season.

HJK Helsinki vs VPS – Both Teams to Score

HJK Helsinki will look to close the gap to three points on league leaders KuPS, as they play host to mid-table VPS at the Bolt Arena.

Toni Koskela’s hosts salvaged a point at home to KuPS in their last league outing but that draw extended their winless run to four matches, whilst VPS suffered a 1-3 defeat at home to Mariehamn last time out.

Jussi Nuorela’s visitors have found the back of the net in all seven of their away fixtures, scoring an eye-catching 24 goals and will look to increase that tally against a HJK defence that’s only kept one clean sheet in their last eight in the Veikkausliiga.

The reigning champions have found the back of the net in 12/14 of their league fixtures this season and given they are the favourites to win, it would be a surprise if they didn’t at least score in front of their own supporters.

Djurgården to Score 2+

Two sides at opposite ends of the Allsvenskan table meet in the Swedish capital, as second-placed Djurgården play host to 13th-placed Värnamo at the Tele2 Arena.

Djurgården recorded their fourth consecutive win last time out, with a 0-2 victory at bottom-placed Helsingborg, whilst Värnamo put a halt to their two-match losing streak by drawing 1-1 at home to fellow strugglers GIF Sundsvall.

Kim Hellberg’s side have struggled on their travels so far this season, losing five of their opening seven away fixtures, with their sole victory coming at bottom side Helsingborg.

Djurgården, on the other hand, have won six and drawn one of their seven matches as hosts, scoring 20 goals in the process and they look a good bet to score at least twice against their poor-travelling opponents.
