The Premier League returns today, and the action kicks off with a must-win game for Manchester United at Southampton.
After clinging to his job by his fingernails at the end of last season, Erik ten Hag needed to get off to a decent start in the new campaign.
But after scraping a 1-0 win over Fulham at Old Trafford the United manager lost his next two games, against Brighton and Liverpool.
The 3-0 hammering by the Anfield giants set alarm bells ringing. It had all the hallmarks of last season's dreadful displays, so Ten Hag desperately needs a morale-boosting win today.

The biggest consolation for Ten Hag is the fact Southampton have made an even worse start to the Premier League season, losing all three games so far.
Playing out from the back cost Russell Martin's side in their last outing against Brentford and the Saints boss has vowed not to ditch his principles.
That makes me think Manchester United could get some joy today and combining a win for Ten Hag's side with over 1.5 goals pays a decent evens.

The best game to watch today in the Premier League could come on the south coast as Chelsea visit AFC Bournemouth.
The Blues smashed six past Wolves on their last away day in the league while Bournemouth signed off for the international break on a high by coming from 2-0 down to beat Everton 3-2.

Thought you would have been on Overs today on this, I backed Liverpool Over 2.5 Team goals earlier @ 5/6. Understand your reasoning but I’m sure you would agree Liverpool got an array of attacking depth now when they make changes with 6/7 options for frontline and eager to impress to start the big matches. IMO Forest got one of worst defences and GK in Prem. 4 or 5-0 today for me.

Did anyone watch the Villa vs Everton game ? I placed a £10 bet on Bet 365 as a betbuilder to qualify for £10 of free bets. At one point, the cash out was £18 when game was 2-2 and one of the parts was Villa double chance, which was the only part showing that I needed to still come in, so when Villa scored a 3rd I thought it was home and hosed. Just checked my account and states ‘bet lost’.
I had Martinez down to make >0.5 of a save in the game, which seemingly he had done by 2-2, but this seems to have been rescinded by the final whistle. Any advice appreciated.
