Saturday’s Football Tips: Spurs to Show Bouncebackability

His Manchester United side are in better shape these days but he won’t be taking anything lightly in west London tonight. Brentford could still make life difficult for the Red Devils but based on their own poor form of late should be bigger than 2/1 meaning the 5/4 on United looks more than fair.

Ivan Toney is due a goal in the league. He’s not scored in his last five Premier League appearances but tucked away a penalty for England earlier in the week and is 11/8 to score tonight.

In Scotland, Morton have to be opposed against Queen’s Park based on recent form. Dougie Imrie’s side went on a run of 16 without defeat but they’ve now lost their last five, including a Scottish Cup defeat to Hearts and are winless in 6.

Callum Davidson has really steadied the ship at Queen’s Park who have only suffered defeat once in their last nine outings (WWDLWDDDW) and look some value at 13/5.

It’s a similar story in League Two where there’s basement battle at Stair Park. Stranraer have a very decent home record and have been backed in to 11/10 from 7/5 to beat Bonnyrigg Rose, who relieved Robbie Horn of his duties earlier in the week after eight without a win.

Dundee can make up a 16/1 Scottish Treble with a win at St Johnstone. The Dark Blues are chasing a top six spot ahead of the Scottish Premiership split and with Hibernian at Ibrox this afternoon could leapfrog the Hibees.

Dundee have scored almost twice as many goals as their hosts this afternoon and it's that firepower that could be the difference today with the Dens Park side priced at a handy 8/5.
