After finally getting off the mark under their new manager, Brighton & Hove Albion will be targeting successive wins as they travel to struggling Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Wolves showed some fight in their previous Premier League fixture with a 1-1 draw at Brentford. They fought back from a goal down with Ruben Neves’ second half effort ensuring a share of the spoils.
The task for Wolves will be to use that fightback as a springboard to turn their poor season around. They are currently second from bottom, still without a permanent manager and have claimed just one win from their last eight matches.
One of the problems for Wolves this season is a lack of firepower in attack and they are now set to be without striker Diego Costa, who was shown a red card last time out. That lack of firepower has been evident in their recent fixtures at Molineux, where they have lost two of their last three matches, failing to score in both defeats.
Brighton & Hove Albion are finally off the mark under Roberto De Zerbi as they claimed an impressive 4-1 victory over Chelsea last time out. They benefitted from a couple of own goals while Leandro Trossard and Pascal Gross were also on target.
It was a fine performance from Brighton and having looked slightly off colour since the former Sassuolo boss took charge, they will be keen to use it as a jumpstart to their season. However, the Seagulls will need to tighten up their backline after keeping just one clean sheet in their last eight Premier League matches.
Things have been slightly difficult for Brighton on their travels as they are winless in their last four away matches. However, having already won at Manchester United and West Ham this season and held Liverpool to a draw, they will fancy their chances at Molineux.
